I have a feeling the Steelers wont be getting too many prime time games this year. They might replace our annual national game against the Steelers with the Bengals.

Funny how many are quick to assume we have prime time games coming our way. Typically when we do get them they are on the road and we lose. Thus barring them being at home I'll settle for afternoon kickoffs.

Also, lots of people plan their scheduled events in the Fall around their favorite team's schedule. For instance, when I sit down with my boss to plan my work schedule, my boss will always accommodate me by NOT scheduling me to work during Ravens' games whenever possible. I also do a lot of promotional events, so I try not to commit to anything that falls during a Ravens game.

During the Fall, I could be bombarded throughout the week and not care, so long as I have that ONE day to myself for those few hours that the Ravens play.

That's also confirmed via Adam Schefter's Twitter feed. Goodell got his wish and we fans will get (hopefully) a more competitive season finale around the league.

Rumor but on the fan they mention it's been heard the Ravens open against the Saints. We'll find out tonight at 7 pm.

As much as that would be a great game, it would be impossible. The Saints are apart of the 8 teams that visit M & T Bank Stadium, and the Saints won the Super Bowl meaning they start out Thursday Night in New Orleans. No way possible it happens with Saints vs Ravens opening week because the Saints get the Thursday Night opener, and the Saints are a Home(meaning it's at The Bank) opponent for the Ravens.

I'm still hoping for either the Jets on MNF or the Steelers on Sunday Night Football at M & T Bank. Not too sure how this whole division thing will work out in week 17 but at least it's a start.
