Derrick Mason Press Conference - Wednesday

well, I have no idea what this is about. Maybe its just a Month late presser and mason will just say hes happy to still be a Raven and he likes where this team is going.

There has been a Rumor going around on the Internet saying he could be announcing a Retirement even know he was re signed. its just a rumor so at this point take it with a grain of salt.

Mason re-signed on March 10 - over a month ago. Why would you have a press conference about an event from a month ago? Are there people out there who don't know that Mason resigned? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Not saying I believe this rumor - but I don't understand why it would be about a month-old signing, either.

this makes sense. How long was it before Stallworth has his introduction etc. I remember that Ray's press conference last year was about a month after he signed aswell. Mason is not retiring, this guy wants a ring. he was 1 inch away from one with the Titans and he knows that this year he has a great shot to get one before he hangs them up!

The Titans were 1 yard away from scoring a TD. Derrick Mason was on the Titans team, so he is included in that.

And if they go for 2 points, they win.

And if Mason does retire... that's going to throw the draft plans out the window for the Ravens. They might have to end up going receiver 2nd round.

Sure hope that's not the case, but I can't say I'd be surprised if it did happen. He's been through a lot this past season.
