The first one was pretty freaking B.A. .. The graphics were nothing like any I've ever seen.... the realism of the game in general is like nothing I've ever seen....

all there is now, is to expect even better greatness in the 2nd installment

May not be the main premise but I am really looking forward to if they are actually building the real New York City as I have gone there for extended periods of time and hope that I can see some familiar sights.

As you mentioned graphics, Crysis came out 4 years or so ago and no game has better graphics still. I remember when people were saying you need a super computer to run it.

idk they say the graphics for the console are going to be nothing the console has ever seen before (so I'm thinking slight possibility it might try and rival the original Crysis' graphics


but I'm def getting it for PC once I get out of bootcamp (if it's out then)

Consoles haven't been maxed out graphically yet that's a fact and you can take it to the bank and cash it. Crytek has been working diligently on CryEngine 3 which has been specifically made to run on the PS3 and 360. The PC version will be vastly superior but just like Crysis 1 you will need a super computer(not really) or one that costs as much, or a really well made computer put together by yourself if you hope to maintain 30-60 FPS on ultra.

with my single 4890 and Q9500 I get about 45-50 frames. I have another 4890 coming by mail. Pretty excited to see how everything runs.

I might need a small boost, but my PC ran Crysis and Warhead just fine @ max (cost me $1200 w/ monitor & Operating System..... $800 w/o)

I liked it... gave us more of those award winning graphics... and a look into what sykes was going through on the other end of the island

if you can find it for the cheap... I'd say get on that faster then white on rice (or in our case purple on rice)

Warhead is very good. Its 5x better optimized than the first one. Much easier to run. Add on about 10 frames to what you were getting in Crysis.

Not to mention it is a stand-alone expansion... therefore you don't need the original Crysis to play it

Excellent. I deleted the first game, so that's kind of important.
First one was like a 10GB install, I needed the space.
