I am not worried right now. I was scared to death the Flyers would come out in Game 1 all tired and lookin' like they got run over by a herd of Zambonis. Bouch looked like the Bouch of ten years ago. The entire team proved me wrong and will get at least a split before heading to the Wach.

If you saw that then you must of saw Crosby work over Spezza before Letang put it in the net, also clearing the crease before it went in the net to save the goal while it was 1-1.

How do you dislike someone who shows so much heart and determination. If the Ravens we're in hockey he would be a Ravens type player.

Just got home and saw the Penguins win.

It looks like most the teams struggled with their first games, are bouncing back with wins in the second. (Praying the caps do the same).

And another mighty falls in game 1. Chicago getting beat by Nashville.

It really has to do with these lower seeded teams having to battle for the the final playoff spots. These teams have been playing playoff hockey for weeks, while the top teams have been playing casual hockey.

We definitely looked like a totally different team, The 1st period in this game was one of the most physical periods of hockey I've ever seen, it was nonstop. I remember about halfway though the 2nd period it showed the hits and we were outhitting Ottawa 45-25.

How about those Coyotes, after taking the 1st game they are up early 1-0 starting the 2nd period against the Wings. What I thought would be an in-experienced team looks really very composed and are playing hard.COUGH letsgoJETS haha.

I think he'd be a Steeler... Pittsburgh and all. Plenty of Steelers are determined and I don't like them.

whew the wings with a back and forth 2nd peroid then a dominating 3rd,which was our strongest period after the lympic break,play like that is what makes them dangerous.now no more rubber games ok

Hahaha, makes sense though. It's pretty funny how I like the Pens/Ravens because most everyone who likes the Ravens hates anything to do with Pittsburgh haha. But I have been a Pens fan since the Lemieux/Jagr/Stevens days and will be all my life(as will the Ravens). I just find a way to make it work

Capitals need to come out in the 3rd a much better team, they aren't playing playoff hockey right now.

While the Igloo may be quiet at times, I can't remember the Pens being booed as the Caps we're near the end of the 2nd period. Backstrom, Semin, Green have all been non-factors thus far, Ovechkin seems to be the only one who ramped up his intensity.

Edit: Also, "non factor" is far too kind for Green. And I think the fans were booing the refs non call.

Okay, I'm pretty sure that Nicklas Backstrom now has 13 goals in 12 post-season games. Need to double check though...

I'll stick with what I said, supporting cast didn't really show up until the end of the second. Semin did next to nothing and took a dumb penalty, Green was a ghost as Corvo was much more noticeable.

Backstrom though in the third was on fire, they won regardless though.

hehehe, this game was a float up until the end of the 2nd. They will need to give a lot more to make it to round two wouldn't you agree? The players didn't have playoff intensity or desperation until the third.

You like the Pens and the Ravens. I like the Flyers and the Ravens. I confuse people around my neck of the woods...last time I was at Walmart I wore my Flyers tshirt with my Ravens draft cap.....the looks of confusion were truly hilarious.

Classic, the one thing that I have noticed is that hockey fans are much more likely to throw a chirp or two at you. The look on people's faces must be good haha.
