But if Philly wins, We win and Pittsburgh wins. We get to play Philly.

Losing the first game is defintley worrisome. But at least Detroit did it on the road.

Pittsburgh, New Jersey and San Jose lost their first one at home. Not good signs.

There was nothing better than to see the whole crowd at the igloo last night quiet, sitting down looking stunned. Reminds me of the time we went into Heinz field and shut the fans up quickly in the first half (ofcourse they had the last laugh).

Caps last year lost their first three games to the Rangers, and things looked cooked for us.

I hate having to go into Canada and being forced to win hockey games. This isn't the Rangers we're talking about.

Canadians are doing what they need to do. Play it safe and wait for us to make our mistakes. And every one of their goals was exactly that.

We can't put up 40+ shots a night and come away with a loss.
