I think we are missing a much bigger picture. The coach firing is only part of the bigger story. During the press conference Ozzie would not commit to to our QB next year or any other player who would start next year. He said that the 2008 team that takes the field will be the new coaches team.

I think this says that our philosophy for the past 9 years is out the door. We have approached this that defenses win championships - now it looks like we might be changing this - allowing a new coach to "dictate" who will be on the field in 2008.

I see a change on the way! Maybe I will no longer fall asleep when our offense is on the field .

Yes, this is definately a new era in football for the Ravens. I want to get a coach who will find a great OC, and let him do the work. I think Rex is our best option. He will find us an OC and wont mess with the offense like Billick did, just let him run the show.

This thread is going nowhere, so to turn things around I will respond to the topic.

- I know that things are going to be changing, everything. Everything that I have known for the last 9 years is going to be gone. Its scary, I dont know what to think of it. I dont know what it is going to become. Al I know is that I will be rooting for my Ravens no matter what they go through, huge change or not.

(Except if they decided to leave one night and move to a different city)

After this year i don't know whats going to happen with us next year i mean we got rid of Brian Billick and now we have no head coach and theres talk about Rex Ryan leaving too ... any truth to that? What do you thinks our plans for next year with the whole coaching staff?
