NFL Stadium Attendance Last Season

14 posts in this topic

Pretty impressive stuff. If you look at a stadium like the Redskins, it lacks modern amenities and its not built for the fans, but its huge, and yet they are 26th in the league in attendance. I was very surprised that Cincy beat out Pitt, but by looking at my how much, looks like their playoff game gave them the edge, if the post-season is counted. Pittsburgh hasnt been in the top 15 in 3 or more years.

Baltimore was 5th in 2008, 2007, 2006.

Bears and Lions game killed us last year because of the crappy weather, Ravens tickets are some of the hardest to come by if you don't want to sell an organ or your first born.
Heck for the Bears game we were not sure da Bears would show up lol, I did not make it to the Lions game but my stepson and his GF went in our place.

That is cool. Thanks for sharing.

I thought for sure Jacksonville would have been dead last.

It's intersting that Indy was second only to Dallas and its monstrosity but only eleven fans showed up when the going got tough.

Yeah I was really surprised to see that. Heinz field has never been Not sold out, but the same can be said for M&T Bank Stadium. Does our stadium just hold more people? How does that work?

Heinz Field - 65,050

M&T Bank Stadium - 71,008

Looks like we can hold more, which might give us a slight edge on attendance.

it basically comes down to the capacity for all the stadiums that are ALWAYS sold out. Even if every seat isnt full its based on ticket sales, not who shows ups

We need a bigger stadium.

Camden Yards - look out! I heard they only had 9k people show up for one of their games already.

Great job raising those ticket prices Angelos, you're driving away even the hard core fans.

My bad that was the 4/12 game against Tampa Bay not the opener.

here's an idea. Sell "satellite seats" at camden yards and show the game on the jumbotron. There are 3 screens so you could show multiple angles at the same time and everyone can bring in their own food "semi-tailgate style". Sell tickets for uber-cheap, like $8. That would be pretty cool.
