It blows my mind that South Park has gone on for this long. I remember being in NYC and there were posters all over the place advertising when it premiered. They said something like "Aliens, flaming farts, and hand puppets. South Park: The reason the V-chip was invented"

Of course, my **** of a cable company in Arizona refused to carry Comedy Central in their lineup because of shows like South Park. I had to make do with renting the VHS releases they did for a few years before DVD's became big, and I moved to a different city that carried Comedy Central. When the movie came out, our local theater (in the old town) didn't carry it until over 2 months after it premiered, and the night we went, there were 9 people in the theater. 5 of them were my family and I and we were the only ones who stayed and laughed through the whole movie. I assume the other folks left after being offended.

Now I can get most of the South Park I want at any time thanks to Netflix, but I wish Matt and Trey would make Seasons 10-14 available on streaming.
