Anyone watching The Pacific on HBO?

Two characters actually being portrayed (so far) are Marine legends!

She's the evil mother in the ill-fated "Jon and Kate Plus Eight"

I never liked her. She was always a shrill harpy who took joy in putting her husband down.

I despise Octomom and Kate.

Who goes around having 8/9 children. That's just ridiculous, it should be a form of environmental pollution, there's 7 billion people already, no need to add more.

That's why I always think it's best to have 1 kid. That way, you still get the joy of being a parent and, theoretically, the population goes down by half each them a generation comes through.

I'll have to disagree. While it's not possible for very many to have a big family, I admire the big families of old. I have 5 Aunts/Uncles on my Mothers side and 6 Aunts/Uncles on my Fathers side. They all loved being in a big family. Wish I was one of many.

I can't really blame Kate Gosselin for having a huge family. She's a barren wasteland and needed a lot of fertility drugs just to have children. Unfortunately (or fortunately), she had 6 kids when she already had twins.
