Yeah I got to work this afternoon and the wind had blown down the non-permanent fences around the construction site out back. On the way out, I noticed a stop sign was on the verge of getting ripped off its pole.

Back in '10, we closed down the balcony of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in wind conditions like this!

My Uncle Don had a massive heart attack last night....still hasn't regained consiousness...

and my sister's school is in all-day lockdown.

I feel just a wee bit apocalyptic right now...trying not to be too upset.

My sister will be ok....that was the district's response to received threats. My uncle though....prognosis isn't very good. I'll call my Dad tonight and see what's going on.
