[b]I don't think Redding makes sense as a 4-3 end, even on early downs. I'd honestly prefer to put Kindle in there before him. I agree his strength will be out of the 3-4 but if we're going to use him in a 4-3 it'll be inside exclusively I think. [/b]

- Ngata plays DE in the 3-4. When switching to the 4-3 if Gregg is playing then Ngata will move to NT, If Cody is playing Ngata will play the 3 technique. Some 4-3 packages will have Pryce and/or Redding moving inside.

- I think Cody will get a lot more game time than Kindle and Jones. Burgess, VanDeSteeg and Barnes are looking more and more like career special teamers.

[/b]- Predictions: DT Lamar Diven quick feet make him a possible sleeper, ILB Ellerbe to have a breakout year. LB Ayanbedejo, at 34 and yet to return from injury to be released.

[b]I like B.A to come back. He's one of the few veteran players that doesn't have their impact on their team-mates overstated. Plus he was by far our best special teamer when he was healthy as well as an awesome coverage linebacker. [/b]
[b]And maybe it's a touch of hyperbole but I think Ellerbe's breakout year was last year. He was a UDFA that earned himself a starting role on a top defence. I guess he could re-breakout and become a star linebacker, but I don't see it happening this year. [/b]

More feathers flying in the chicken coop? The Ravens have been 3/4 for nearly the last 7 years and as much as you might wish it, the defense will never successfully go back to a base 4/3. Get over yourself.
