Since everyone who bought the game and insists it's way better than MW2 (it's not) are too lazy to start your own thread, I decided to create one for you. Now stop trolling in what used to be an awesome thread about one of the best games ever: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

I'm really curious as to whether the game's as good as it's hyped to be. On one hand, I appreciate the level of realism, where it doesn't take two or three clips to kill a guy. On the other hand, I'm not sure whether the story is as compelling as MW2's. Sure, MW2 had a lot of plot holes (very few videogames don't have plot holes), but it's not as if those issues detracted from the experience.

I'll have to rent this game or borrow it from somebody before I drop $60 on yet another new game.

I play both.... and by no means am I a troll.... but I honestly believe BC2 is the superior game...


it does take some time getting used to.....

and everybody and their sister/brother/cousin/father/mother/grandparents think they can snipe

so far the campaign is pretty sweet, [spoiler] I mean come on they have a helicopter pilot who's call-sign is Ghostrider.... thats just a win[/spoiler]

The multiplayer is realistic... (i.e. gravity....... and things that go boom at night..... or when blown up by a tank)

and get this.... it actually takes some form of strategy/skill to do well

note* I highly suggest if you play this game... PLAY WITH FRIENDS seeing as a big element to the multiplayer is the squad based combat..


so when you go rent it (yes, all of you are going to go rent it now, no that wasn't optional) don't be turned off after playing 1-2 games.... because the gameplay/controls are SOOOOOOOOO much different then MW2

I have to agree with red. I mean, I bought Mw2 on launch day. I had lots of fun. It just gets annoying when people are shot in the head and they still run away. Im making a montage of me using a 50 cal. with FMJ and getting hits in the torso on up, and no kills awarded. Idk, guess i like having destructible environments, lots of vehicles to choose from and load outs... and Dedicated Servers. If infinity ward added hummers, quads and planes to Mw2, I cant imagine the price, let alone a few maps cost 15 bucks.

I'm not sure, I just know if you have ppl to play w/ on a regular basis it makes the game that much better... but thats true about any game

Actually I have both games and BC2 is so much better than MW2. I guess it just depends on what kind of game you enjoy. I like bigger maps, longer rounds, and games that take more skill. MW2 was good but it got old fast, any Nub can play that game and get kills, there's no skill involved with that game.

BC2 on the other hand takes technique, you can't just camp in one spot for the entire map without being killed like you can in MW2. I love BC2, it's one of my favorite FPS, MW2 was good but since BC2 came out I don't play it anymore.

Like I said everyone has their own opinion on which is better. BC2 in my opinion is just so far beyond MW2. The destructible environments if like a dream come true. Not as many hackers in BC2 either.

I most play MP and that part of BC2 blows MW2 away, the SP...I don't really care for, I've played both but to me they are the same thing. The MP is where BC2 takes the lead and is the best game.

PC..sorry I forgot to add that little bit of information....

I know a lot of people dont play on PC because of the cost of upgrading graphics card, processor, etc...its the best way to play these games in my opinion.
