"Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have released offensive lineman Shawn Andrews."

Andrews is a former Pro Bowl Guard who's been bothered by injuries, but at age 27, likely still has a lot in the tank. Any thoughts?

Doesn't he have issues with depression. At the right price and if his mind is right, I wouldn't mind the Ravens picking him up.

I second what Ed_Reed20 said.
He had a monsterous season back on 2006 but he has been suffering from depression problems as of late and that is possibly the reason why the Eagles released him.

How do the Eagles release him and not his brother first?
He's a good player but he need's to stay healthy.

No way, I like the way our O-line looks. Yanda and Ben are perfect guards for us.

Anyway, I see a team who needs O-line help like the Packers, or Redskins going after him.

Did he? I wasn't aware of that. Well, if the price is right and if we do pull the trigger, hopefully a change of scenery would improve his mental state.

He does. I remember Al Michaels talking about during a SNF game last season.

He's also had a number of career-threatening injuries too.

If the Ravens need to upgrade any positions on the o-line, it must be center and OT.
