Hes a humble, hard working, hard nosed football player. I'm loving this attitude hes taking. One good thing you get out of young players... they're hungry.

The Probowl means absolutely nothing. It's a popularity contest, not a showing of the best players. The fact the NFL was scurrying around trying to fill PB holes is proof enough. I could care less if Oher makes the PB, as long as he's pass blocking, supporting the run and preventing sacks... what else do we need to care about?

Right? The roster seemed to change by the day.

I agree as far as production, and I think we all known hes going to continue to show that defensive, tough mentality on offense... and succeed. I was only saying, for as hard as he works, for the type of attitude he carries, not only will it show in his performance, but I hope he gets some recognition from his (fellow peers) who ultimately put you in the pro bowl. Hes a good guy, humble, lived a hard life, just saying I'm proud of him for taking this attitude, and hope his hard work pays off not only on the field, but through respect.

IMO...

All Pro > Pro Bowl.

I'll take the opinion of players production coming from the mouth of the AP over that of NFL members/players and fans.

Like people have said, I could care less if Oher makes the Pro Bowl. Some All-Pro selections would be sweet though.

I knew the Ravens had truly got a steal the pre-season game against the Redskins where he drove some poor d-line into the turf and split open his forehead as the play came to an end. You can't teach that kind of aggression.

Yes making pro-bowl team means nothing, but it signifies that he's one of the best in the league at his position and I think it's worth giving credit for.

I always love the fact that if the 2009 draft was redone, Michael Oher would been the 2nd overall pick.

Michael Oher was such a steal that a lot of other teams are scratching why they missed him.

You can't teach his desire to play and also there's not a lot of offensive tackles that can play both ends in their 1st year solid.

Yeah, that was Renaldo Wynn, a former DT and power, not finesse player. He was yawning, "Ah, 13th season, I'll just go through the motions in this preseason game," when a big sledgehammer came and woke him out of his dream.

There's no replicating Jon Ogden's size and godlike abilities, but Oher has that nasty streak of Orlando Brown and a lot of Ogden's natural strength and athleticism. His work ethic may turn out to be the best we've had out of an O-lineman. He's also able to (mostly) confine that mean streak within the rules of the game and not commit penalties. He plays to the whistle, and sometimes a little more :P.

I can't wait until the next time he sees Jared Allen after the words they had with eachother.
