Conflicting Numbers

32 posts in this topic

today i was sitting back thinking about are team back in 2000. and i started to think about the numbers the players wear. and i came across something startling. jamie sharper use to wear number 55 and was a great player and had a great carrer, but dosent terrell suggs wear number 55, hes a great player and looks like he will have a great carrer. then i thought about Travis Taylor and Mark Clayton both wore number 89 and they are not that good. At All. and looking back at mccalister being number 21. now im not going to say webb is gonna be as good as him but just like mccalister in his rookie seaon he ran back a kick return. and what history shows us with webb wearing number 21 he might turn out to be really good too

Ps: michael mccrary wore number 99. so good luck kruger hope you are as good as him

Actually, McAlister didn't return a kick for a TD his rookie season. He returned a missed field goal for a score his 5th season though.

uhhh...what about LJ Smith wearing 82?
Exactly. LJ Smith should be like Shannon Sharpe now. Or Clarence Moore and Edgar Jones wearing #84 like Jermaine Lewis. Rob McCune also wore #58 like Peter Boulware and had nowhere near the impact of Boulware.

Oh Yeah, I was there, it was a Monday Night Football and I was yelling my a** off when he ran it for TD. Noise was so loud in there, some people were taking their kids out.

boller didnt play that bad when he was number 8 and if u think bout it 2003 when he was a starter as a rookie that was the only time we went to the playoffs when he was starting

It never happened. Look at his career statistics. McAlister has NEVER returned a kick-off for a TD.

He's scored returning INTs, fumbles and the missed FG return but nothing else.
