To the best defensive Captain to ever step foot on the football field. I found a good Youtube video to honer the presence, past and the future of this great football leader.

Video: Ray Lewis, NFL's Dark Knight.

Here is my favorite Ray Lewis vid. The way Ray hits and attacks his opponents reminds me of Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Watching him hit people is like watching when they put a huge chunk of chumb in the ocean and watching the sharks just go at it. But yeah this video is awesome. There is also a video like this for Ed Reed too.

After watching these videos, you have to wonder. What is Ray Lewis going to do with himself once he can't play football anymore? Playing football is his life.

Ray has given us his heart and soul always. I've always been impressed by the fact that the fire in his heart and eyes is as strong as they were on Day One back in '96.

*sigh* Season won't come fast enough. The hitting won't be hard enough.

the interesting thing about this is that Ray is not the biggest player on any one team.
The end point is the biggest player is not always the most effective player.

Ray now has the highest approximate value of any inside linebacker in NFL history.

Great video! Ray Lewis is special fellas and I feel truly blessed to have been able to watch him play in the purple and black. The guy is more then just a football player, but what he has brought to Bmore on and off the field is amazing. I really hope we can bring in another championship before he calls it quits because he has given everything and more to earn it. If our entire offense begins to play like Ravens, this year could be the year. August can't come soon enough...

He is the leader of 53 men on a roster and every single one of them should be deserving of a ring. One guy can't cover the whole 100 yrds of a football field.....

I don't think anybody really said that he does it all, but the fact that he has been the heart and soul of this franchise can't be denied. He is also by far the leader of this team and deserves another championship because of what he has given to the game of football, our team, and our community. Of course the entire team deserves a championship when accomplished but this topic is meant to be a tribute to Ray Lewis.

Great video, I wish he can win his 2nd SB ring before retiring. More importantly, he can pull out Brett Favre's move :)
