I love these things. I saw the one with LeBron and he was pushing 700+ lbs upwards and arcing his arm at the speed of a copter blade!

Yea the one I saw with rampage jackson doing slams was really cool to. Rampage's slam was 1900 pounds of pressure, if i recall correctly. I can't believe i missed one with Lewis on it :). Would have been cool if they had this show around when Lewis was in his prime but he put up impressive numbers anyways as I knew he would :).

Alright, after conversing privately about this, there's been a misunderstanding. The thread was originally locked due to the conversation deteriorating, primarily due to words and intent being taken out of context.

Though this thread is technically a repost of an older thread, the older thread in question was created MONTHS AGO. There's been an influx of new members in the time that's passed, so the original poster shouldn't be blamed for having created a thread without knowing that an identical one had been created so long ago. This is different than, say, creating a thread on a topic discussed days or weeks ago based on current events.

Therefore, this thread will be re-opened.

Additionally, though the video in question features Ray Lewis, it does not belong in Ravens Talk. The Ravens Talk forum is reserved for discussions pertaining to the Ravens football and on-field play; this also includes transactions and other such aspects of the NFL that affect the Ravens and the product they put on the field. Again, although the video features a Baltimore Raven performing a stunt related to football, it is not something related to the on-field product that we see on the field on Sundays.

We apologize for the misunderstandings and would like to remind you all that all disputes with Moderators are to be taken to our Private Messaging system. This is done so as to keep things in-house without invoking further conflict or dispute with other unrelated parties.

Any further questions, again, feel free to contact myself or any one of us via PM.

These things happen. The main reason why we want these conversations to occur via PM is because we don't want someone randomly chiming in that has no business chiming in. That's one of the dangers of having a public conversation on such a large forum.

My bad I will try to research a bit more before I post next time. I was just watching some highlights of the ravens and happened to see it and thought it was interesting. I couldn't find anything on the first five pages so I just stopped (next time I will dig a bit deeper as two people posting the same topic is annoying :)). So now we can just let this one die. Again sorry for the repost!

Again, you didn't really do anything wrong; you did the right thing by digging five pages deep before considering a new thread. If there's a repost of a topic from beyond five pages, then it's an innocent enough mistake and the new thread can stand. Though merging is a possible option, it looks bad to merge an old one with a new one as it appears as if the OP went and dug up an old post, which constitutes spam. So instead, by allowing it to stand as a new thread, it's recognized as an innocent mistake while possibly inviting conversation from people who hadn't seen it the first time around.

Imagine how the Practice squad players feel?
LOL
It would be fun to be a practice squad guy that got promoted to first string. This sort of thing doesn't happen all the time but that would be kind of nice right now.....
