Man, ive never seen that video before but its awesome. Ed Reed is a nightmare for anyone opposing, injured or healthy they want none of it. I pray he comes back because at his age he has leadership skills like no other safety in our era, or any DB for that matter. Ed Reed and Ray Lewis is the staple of our defense and when they retire, they need to be coaching. And I dont want to see any other color on them beside purple and black.

Ed Reed defines the mantra of "old school!" He has had a while to evaluate his status, and even if he can't make it back, tell me he does not want to! Ed, you are the man, the question for us has no wrong answer! Yes, or no, you are Ed Reed, the best peroid!! If we win, with or with out you (active) we will win, not only because you helped us get there, but for you!! #20 Ed Reed, Raven!!!

Thats awesome! Zibby and Naka get at least 1 more year to study under the best in the game! It will be a sad day in Baltimore when we have to wave goodbye to them.

However, we will gross that bridge when we get there. Lets go win the Superbowl this year!!!!

If the team wasn't make steps in the right direction I could see Ed Reed seriously contemplating retirement.

But now that we just added Boldin, and we have a young dynamic offense. Plus another upcoming draft The oldtimers don't want to leave before the miracle happens.

Ed Reed and Derrick Mason don't want to leave this team right now, as they know we are on the cusp of a winning formula to bring us the Superbowl.

Plus I'm selfish, and would hate to see Reed go without getting a Superbowl ring.

I completely agree with you. If they didn't bring in a receiver, I could have seen both of these guys walking. I figured that Boldin trade definitely would have a huge impact on their decisions to give it a go with the Ravens one more year.

Yeah I don't want to see Reed go without a ring as well, and same with Mason. Though Mason wants a 2 year contract, and with Reed thinking of retirement, I could very well see both Mason and Reed retire if the Ravens are able to win the Super Bowl. It's very much possible but would love to see them stick around for 2 more years whether we win SB 45 or not, if we win SB 45, I would love to see them come back and help us win back to back Super Bowls, but I can understand fully that if the Ravens are to win SB 45, I'll be happy with Mason and Reed Retiring at the same time, going out on top is one thing players think of and both of them have a very good chance of getting their ring this year and going out on top.

Ed Reed or Mason is going to nowhere. I think they will be back for at least another 2 years. I hope they would wear SB ring when they retire as Ravens. It's goosebumps to think about we prevail and obtain SB trophy this year.

I would be more comfortable with Reed and Mason retiring with rings. They are both warriors and deserve it.
