i dont think this belongs in the Ravens forum as he clearly wont be one but i wouldve loved to have him as a Raven although getting boldin, whos less trouble and signed for a relatively low deal while still having our first and second round picks is amazing. (Draft class of 08?)

Signing Bolding and 5th pick with 3rd and 4th is a steal. The 2010 draft is depth this year, and no way we would give up 1st pick and humongous deal addtional with it. Marshall is more than just trouble and headaches, and he's only be chosen if we really have no other options. Moreover, the dude will never accept any deal less than $50 mil to start with.

I heard rumor that the Bengals are interested Marshall, and he should visit Cincinnati soon.

With all the hype Marshall is full of caliber as the best recieving type, it seems like not too many team want him on the roster. Certainly, he won't be coming here.

I heard the Chargers are now interested in Marshall. Not sure if this is true, but if it is... Marshall+Jackson+Gates=Deadly trio.

If Brandon Marshall was everything he was hyped up to be, he would've found a new home by now, especially given his first-round price tag. The asking price of his contract in addition to that first-rounder isn't the only thing that has teams leery, and it's starting to show. No one will deny that Marshall has talent, but it's also hard for even the most ardent Marshall supporter to argue that he hasn't dug his own grave with his behavior.

That's kind of like saying if Gaither was a good tackle, he would be signed to an offer by now. And I think we can all agree he's one of the best tackles in the league, and leaps and bounds above any offensive lineman that would come out of the draft this year.

This headache talk is just more nonsense the media puts out there for something to talk about, and teams put out there TO the media to try and drive the price or trade value down.

Jared Gaither didn't create a bunch of controversy by acting like a complete child. That is what is making teams leery.

The tender placed on Brandon kind of strikes me as payback for all the pre-season nonsense he put his team through last season. That's not to deny his talent but that primadonna tag hung on him is now come full circle to bite him in the rear. He may still get out of Denver, but the fact that he hasn't yet says alot.

word. I mean to give up a first rounder AND pay out the [___] long term for a player that was disruptive & showed complete lack of maturity when he didn't get his way, you've either got to be desperate, or stupid.

So him swatting down passes and purposely fumbling the ball during training camp and practices was the media trying to drive his price down?

Marshall has immaturity problems- mostly because he's obscenely underpaid and overworked in Denver. He brings it on himself though and odds are he'll end up being another TO. No home and retires after playing for 5-8 different teams.

Seems like teams are afraid of giving up 1st rounders. Especially for a player like Marshall.

If he had a 2nd round tender, he would have been gone the first day of FA.

I really think he'll never make it out of Denver. Good luck chasing down Quinn or Orton's throws, but Bandon, you can't be " Baby T.O." and really be surpised that you ain't all that! All the talent in the world and questionable character, man you lose every time!

What a predicament Denver have found themselves in.

Brandon wants out, as do the Broncos and, understandably, Denver wants compensation for one of the league's best receivers.

Understandably, Denver want a first round pick to make his loss less of a blow yet no other teams are willing to give up that pick in a deep draft class.

It would now appear that Marshall is stuck in Denver, a result that nobody involved wanted. It looks like Denver may have to accept less compensation through a trade or, put up with another season of Marshall griping and moaning about the organisation and how "little" he is being paid.

Maybe this'll give the kid the reality check he needed. Doesn't matter how good or productive you are, if you have those sort of character flaws nobody's going to give anything up to have you in their dressing room.

I can't wait to see his antics in training camp this year. Perhaps he starts puncturing/stabbing balls w/ a knife.

How does everybody feel about passing up on him now? Glad we went with Boldin? I sure am.

You da man, Ozzy.

I'm very happy that we got Boldin, but I'm not going to pretend that he wasn't my second choice to Marshall.

With that being said, getting Boldin with such a bargain price was the smarter way to go.
