Don't really know what to make of that... but it's disturbing nonetheless.
Most disturbing part is the Boston woman's story is IDENTICAL to the Georgia woman's story- yet it happened and was legally documented way before the Georgia night club event.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a half dozen women come out and claim assault charges that will match what happened in Georgia.

Why hasn't she pressed charges yet? Obviously the statute of limitations hasn't run out or this wouldn't be a story...

I would be surprised if we didn't hear something like that. Woods had 20 million women claim he'd been with them. Ben's not as big of star, but he should probably have a few stories.

According to Jason La Canfora, Rothlisberger is expected to recieve a suspension of 1-2 games.

Jason La Canfora Twitter

According to Mort of ESPN, this suspension could come either from the Rooney family or the NFL. Who's going to get there first?
SI.com's Peter King "suspects" it will be the Steelers who ultimately suspend Big Ben for conduct detrimental to the organization.
And on top of that. Poor Ben Rothlisberger has lost his sponsorship with a company that produces his beef jerky line.

ummm, If this is True then I can see him being Cut in a matter of days.
So with the possibility of a Georgia prosecution official gone and only a civil lawsuit in Nevada remaining, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger can exhale and focus only on playing football and not barhopping, right?

Maybe not.

Lots of accusations, yet never even a charge. Hmmm.
I know, Who knows what going on. But the thing is he doesn't need to be charged.

You're right, he needs to proven guilty (or innocent). Unless you prove to me Ben is a criminal mastermind, I think that he's just as much a victim as he is stupid for exposing himself to these situations. He's harmed his reputation, but that's about all he seems to be guilty of. I put no stock in the Mass. crap either.

You just don't get repeatedly accused of something with no grounds. Twice, you can make a case that he was targeted. But to be honest it seems like the GA girl was too drunk to have connected Ben to the Lake Tahoe case. But if what this guy is saying is legit it looks bad.

I was in a bar in Pittsburgh (Southside) one time (back when I was dating a Duquesne girl) back in 2005 - God help me. To my surprise Big Ben walks in with two young girls around his arms (what looked to be 17 y.o. girls - and that's being generous!) and acted like he owned the place. He bought drinks for everybody and the bartender got pissed because he nor his "crew" were paying for it.

Don't know what the point of this story is. But ever since that moment, I knew Rothlisberger was a ****. So its easy for me to want to side with the ladies in the cases. Ben's got issues with maturity, drinking and women in my eyes.

If anything, Ben is guilty of being a fool for consistently putting himself in these types of situations... lucky for Ben, there is no crime for stupidity or foolishness.

I'm sure many people in Pittsburgh can present similar stories about Ben.

I really hope he's suspended.

You hit the nail on the head, especially in terms of his stupidity in placing himself in these situations. However, whether or not there is truth to these allegations, the court of public opinion is (unfortunately) the ultimate judge of a celebrity's guilt. In the case of a celebrity, their life is placed under a microscope; when anything arises that may damage their reputation, it is magnified far beyond that of any private citizen. The public will dissect and disseminate what they will from every leaked detail and will form an opinion that will determine the course of said celebrity's future.

As much as celebrities and athletes do things to earn our adoration and to be placed on a pedestal, they are just as capable of being knocked off. In fact, it is almost inevitable for celebrities to do so, as it is only human to err. But that said, it is the frequency and the magnitude in which they err that determines how the public responds. In the case of Ben Roethlisberger, these are no minor mistakes. Even if there is never hard evidence to prove his innocence or his guilt, Roethlisberger's judgment has undoubtedly been his downfall.

This is Ben has a real problem territory. I would not be surprised to see him in rehab like Tiger and Jesse James. Warden even you have to agree there is SOMETHING he is doing wrong. I ran into a bar owner from Pittsburgh on vacation a few years ago, he is a huge Steelers fan, and he said Ben was a jerk and treated women horribly. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Should these allegations prove to be true, and that's a pretty big "if", as it were, then big Ben may have bid a not-so-fond farewell.

Still, I am for investigating these new allegations, these new charges.

Most times when you go to rehab you come out wanting it to do (whatever) more. I'm not saying he's guilty of anything, but if it comes to a point where he is convicted and goes it will only do something temporarily.

Never said Ben was a saint. I have already agreed that he needs to humble himself. But for me, accusations are useless. I'm sure as heck not going to expect an unbiased view from folks who hate him.

Now the Lawyer is backing out of his claim of this other situation.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/13/lawyer-backs-off-on-allegations-of-other-roethlisberger-incidents/
Harry Manion also indicated in an appearance on WEEI that there were others, too.

"There's a whole litany here, not only my experience, I have connected with several other people that have experience," Manion said. "And you know, there's only so far that he said/she said will get you. There's only so far that paying hush money will get you, if hush money is paid."

Now, Manion is singing a different tune. It started with an e-mail from Manion's office to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "Mr. Manion did not mean to express or imply that he has any information that Mr. Roethlisberger engaged in any illegal behavior."

Manion later elaborated directly. "I don't have any details at all," Manion told the Post-Gazette. "I was retained by a family. It went nowhere. I have no specifics. All I know is it involved an evening with Ben Roethlisberger, and I never got any of the details. I offered it [on the radio show] only because it was such a similar situation -- a young woman at a nightclub asked, invited into a VIP area."
Now he backs off his claim and now where do we go, this thing has been so crazy you don't know what's right, what's wrong and what really happened. I find it funny how this guy says that he has something and investigated than all of a sudden goes back on his word? Just like I find it funny the girl didn't want to press charges on March 17th. Something is going on and until someone is not afraid of Ben's lawyers he may keep doing this if any of this is true.

At least he got a haircut and wore a suit for his meeting today. Too bad he didn't do that yesterday. I thought it showed a lot of disrespect for his team to show up looking like that yesterday.

In that interview, was his hair style considered to be a Mullet or what? It sure looked like a Mullet to me.

It's crazy how an repeat alleged sexual assault is taking more lightly then someone smoking harmless marijuana.

Actually I don't hate him-- I admire the way he can complete passes with 3 LB's hand off of him--but if you saw his presser last night he looks rough. An almost 30yo hanging with college girls is not the norm either.

There sure is alot of "smoke" around Ben these days. No one has made anything stick yet but the man just got torched by Terry Bradshaw! He is really throwing his teamates and franchise under the bus. At best he really needs to grow up, and I for one think that a suspension just might help. I would rather beat the Steelers on the field, Ben and all, but lesser players have gotten smacked by the "Rog" than him!

I'm confused, but it appears as though you are defending the worst hair style in the history of man. Am I correct in coming to that conclusion?
