Their first 6 games: Falcons, Titans, Bucs, Ravens, Browns, Dolphins. That's four AFC teams and two division games. Dropping 3 of the AFC games is a nail in their 2010 campaign coffin, especially when the playoff tiebreaker rests almost solely on intra-conference and division record.

I wouldn't count them out just yet. It wouldn't be the first time a team lost their starting qb and managed to salvage their season. Remember Bledsoe and Brady... or Maddox and that other guy and Roethlisberger?

On the other hand, it took them a while to replace the last franchise qb so hopefully, you're right.

Their defense is going to have a whole lot more pressure on them now, and they stunk it up in crunch time last year... I don't see how adding more pressure like this is going to help that situation. I will never count out the Steelers though.

Two things about Big jen.

First off, face it, this is really a 4 game suspension disguised as a 6 gamer. Im not saying 4 isnt enough, but lets call a spade a spade. If you're gonna say its a 6 game susp with the possibility of being reduced if he complies with what the league asks him to do what do you think is going to happen? When they ask him to jump he'll ask how high and what should I wear while doing it? There is no chance that it doesnt get reduced. However if he screws up not only will he get the full 6 but he may be toast for the entire year. If it was just 6 games with no possibility of reduction he would still be out additional games if he screwed up again. So basically there's no chance he serves 6 games. Either he's a good littlee boy and only does 4 or he screws up again and gets suspended the entire year. Its all smoke and mirrors bc 6 games sounds a lot worse than 4.

Point number two. Everyone talks about dumping him and what kind of draft pick it will take to get him. WHO IN THE HECK WANTS HIM???? I dont care if its the Oakland train-wreck Raiders. No fan base is gonna support him. He's an embarrasment to the steeler nation and for this particular situation and what he did I cant think of any team that would really want that baggage. His best years are behind him and there's no reason to believe he'll gel anywhere else in the league.

I get the San Fran vibe from this. They have 2 first round picks. They have all the pieces. Their weakest link is their OL and Big Ben offsets that.

I'm not FOR trading Ben, but if we did I'd want Suh with the first pick and McCoy with the second. Anything after that is gravy.

They aren't in the top 10. They have the #13 & #16. But maybe there isn't a better option. But if the Steelers trade with them they could possibly draft Joe Haden.
