So you admit that Ben will will always be guilty despite any legal proceedings. Good. EXACTLY my point.
Ben is guilty of being a person that appears to have no control over his actions, nor from his track record does he seem to care. I hear more negative things about Ben from people that come in contact with him than positive. he does not appear to be well respected by his peers or from those in his immediate community.

My point is why hang out in a Ravens' site asking for us to give support and/or understanding to Ben or any Steelers player for that matter. Were you on the Steelers' site 10 years ago asking support for Ray Lewis when he was going through his debacle?

Our opinions will be skewed due to our allegiance to our team and I still find it quite humorous that you are such a regular in here...especially with the ever changing Steelers' signature. Remove that and change your user i.d., and we would probably be more willing to speak with you in a more unbiased manner. ;)

I say again, I'd like to see him sentenced to 3-5 as a St. Louis Ram.

I feel he should not be supported because regardless of what he is found guilty of, the guy is an ***.
We need to stop supporting these divas that feel they can act however they wish just because they may to some appear to be a star. Its like people that want TO on our team just so we can win. Same with C-Mac.
When will we start making these guys be held accountable for their actions? I would not expect people to like or respect me if I acted the way Big Ben does. That is why I would not let my child wear his jersey...he is a poor example of human being.
And yes, same goes for Vick. Blah, blah, blah about served his time. Michael Vick and his brother have been the same way ever since college. They were a virus at Va Tech too. Yes people can change...but I do not forgive and forget as easily as you, it appears.
The Big Ben thing we can agree on, I was just saying that he was innocent until proven guilty. We can also agree that you do not forgive as easily as me but I have forgotten nothing :). Blah blah blah about how he was at college. If someone can completely turn there life around then I will support them. I would not call him a "poor example of a human being" that all depends where and how you grow up I believe. It is hard to break old habits, especially if you do not believe they are "wrong". He has been held accountable for his actions to. Either way we can just agree to disagree! I want to get back to thinking aobut my team instead of these two players, who I dont really care aobut :).

anyone else amzed by one simple fact how can one man be so inept as to put him self in this situation then we look at his yearly ammount of time sacked , and his int ammount. now we figure this in , ok he is not a good decision maker so how did they win two superbowls with him? personaly his team carried him not the other way arround . anyone remember this one point if your not a good person to ask a moral decision of you might want to not try to lead a team it will fall apart .

Dude, get a clue alright? He struggled in SBXL, but HE got us there. In this last SB he could very well have been the MVP. He threw the same pass twice and Holmes missed the first one. His numbers in his short career have been pretty darn good. So again, if you're going to talk, know what you're talking about. PLEASE.

Funny, but dont hate on the Rams!!! I live in St. Louis, and I would be horrified if Ben got traded here for a first. Although, I can't remember were I saw it, but I heard that the Rams offered a 2nd this year and next year for Ben, and the trade for this years first and next years were false. I would MUCH rather them draft Bradford instead of that pig.

That's Big Ben's forte...scrambling recklessly for his life to make it all work out at the very last second. He lives his life just as he plays football. :P

There is always the Raiders
Their fans alone should scare some sense into Ben
Eagles would be a good fit in that regard as well.

In case you haven't noticed my little tea and crumpet eating friend, I've been even keel on this one. i.e, blame where it's warranted and credit where it's warranted.

I think I can help him out. The off-duty trooper is being investigated by the PA state police to make sure nothing is damaging to their reputation.

I smell smoke! After reading all the info on the incident, and the resignation of the investigating officer of the case, Ben, you're beginning to make several Bengal's say what? As much I would would love to see the Raven's eat your lunch on the field, you really should sit for a year! Forget the NFL, you sold out your team, your fans, and sadly yourself and your family. Seriously, you really need to take a "time out" in the corner and check yourself! From what I have read, now public record, your problems are bigger than football and you are escalating! We will still be here waiting for you, if you can come back!

Bens future in the foreseeable future with the Steelers is over. All this news coming out about her side of the story, her friends, the resignation of the officer who was at the bar and later was the one to interview Ben... it's all smoke and there's a huge fire burning.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers unload Ben and bring in a new QB or go with Batch. The Rooneys are hardcore about their image and this is a story that is only going to get bigger, especially after the draft.

Has Ben ever come out with his side to what happened?
He had a brief interview with the police on the night of the incident. He said that he and the girl had sexual contact, but not intercourse, and he said that she hit her head. I think there was a discussion about this in the earlier pages of this thread.

I think Dixon would get the nod before Batch.

I meant Dixon, not batch. The guy we played against last year who ran/passed for a TD. My bad.
