A great move and it dosn`t cost us much!
Hope we will Still draft one of the good WRs... We have good possession WRs now we need to get Joe a deep threat WR.

Stallworth is a deep threat and boldin can make bigtime plays after the catch with his physicality, not too worried about us drafting another receiver in the top 2 rounds, REALLY hoping that some of our RFA's (other than the bigtime guys of course) get signed cuz the extra draft picks on top of getting boldin we could still have a full draft

I am so stoked on this. In my eyes, Boldin was by far the best option out there. I thouhgt they were only asking for a 3rd rounder, but I still think we got good value here. I think we will somehow get more draft picks.

I am about to place my order for a Boldin #81 jersey right now!!!

Awesome move!!

AQ will definately compliments Donte Stallworth who is adeep threat.

As tough yards after catch guy WR, a deep threat WR, and a possesion WR (Mason should come back)!!!

Are you kidding me? No one could stop that!!

And don't think Ozzie is done, we could end up with a young talented WR in Dez Bryant. Good night steelers and bengals!!

What made this deal awesome is that we got a draft pick, which is huge. That 5th pick could end up being a superstar in the making.

Sure Stallworth is a deep threat but he didn`t play last year and had only 170y in 11 Games... Boldin and Stallwoth are both 29... sure not realy old but the perfect age for helping rookie players for the future!

We got Anquan Bolden and we still have our 1st and 2nd round picks and we can get a Wide receiver or cornerback in the 1st or 2nd round.

Dude.. Stallworth was playing for the browns... The first game they won last season derek anderson went 2 for 17 for like 23 yards... you want statistics

46 catches 700 yds in 07 as a slot guy with the pats - 69 yd longest
38 catches 725 yds in 06 as slot with eagles and only played 12 games - 84 yd longest
70 catches 943 yds in 05 as #2 receiver with aaron brooks sorry *** passing to him

We'll see how he does with a real quarterback and a chip on his shoulder hopefully playing 16 games; if he plays all 16 games look for around 50 catches and 800 yards with a few TDs, look for a solid 15 of those to be 20+ yard receptions, he's a big play guy in the perfect situation to resurrect his career

Im happy we have Boldin. If we sign mason, washington and draft Benn, we could have the best 5 recievers in the league. Mason, Boldin, Benn, Stallworth, Washington

I love the fact that we acquired Stallworth and Boldin. The pass and rush attack will definetly benefit in a huge way, Flacco will really start to look much better. All they have to do now is stay away from Terrell Owens . . the team is getting better, we dont need him bringing it down.

We should get a cornerback in the 1st round because we are dieing for a cornerback spot and I think Kyle Wilson will be a great pick up for the Ravens in the late 1st round. Then 2nd round get another receiver or a defencive end in the 2nd round.Ravens football!!

Of cause it’s a priority to bring Mason back! OK we have Boldin now but Mason is Joes go-to-guy and that’s a position Boldin must grow into. If we don`t get Mason back it would be a step in the wrong direction. For Joe, for the passing game and for the team. To be true Mason was the only WR we had who should be a starter... he played threw pain and had the spirit.

We need to improve the pass rush and protect our depth on the defensive line... maybe a DE or DL guy, we need depth at secondary CB and S, we could still use one more young WR to learn from Boldin, Stallworth, and hopefully Mason (or possibly Kelly Washington even, the guy was way under used last year) while we have them. Also don't forget that we have basically no depth at TE behind Heap. I have a feeling Oz isn't done making moves yet...it's way to soon to make any predictions what Ozzy will do next...but im sure we will deal with the bulk of those issues before the year begins. We have the means and the know how to get it done, I have faith in our front office, plus we have a great team that can only get better and maybe eventually be one of the elite teams.

GET MASON BACK!!!! It'll be like an all star receiving core with all star rushers and passers. It's weird to be a Ravens fan after all these years and be so hyped to see the offense take the field. But I still love our D!!!!!

I can only repeat... Boldin is a tough possession receiver with good hands, almost a twin of Mason. If we gain Boldin and lose Mason, what have we gained? Nothing. Boldin is a little younger. We acquired Stallworth, but he is unproven. I think that either Mason will be back, or we will have to sign another big name wide receiver or otherwise, the other teams will double Boldin, like they did Mason, and put 9 in the box to stop Rice and we have gained absolutely nothing and lost money.

off the subject for a moment. if the nfl does not solve the cba issue by the end of next season the players will never vote to have a salary cap ever again. the owners having the $$$$$$ to own a team in a city that loves football make it possible for all of the coaches and players to make football a career and make excellent $$$$$$$ doing so. on the other hand the players are what makes football interesting to us fans and puts us in front of the tv or in the stands. bottom line the fans and the tv contracts are what makes the owners rich and the players rich and to keep raising prices to pay for these ridiculous salaries that these players make and to pay the amount of $$$$ that us loyal fans pay on concessions and merchandise is sick and has really gotten out of hand in all the major sports. owners and players have had there strikes in the past to get there way but its time for us fans to strike before we end up paying $10 for a hotdog, $15 for a beer, $7-8 for a soda, $150 for nose bleed seats and $50-60 dollars for parking etc etc etc...... trust me fans you may think im exagerating on these prices but wait and see 5 or so years from now. we are in a recession and people are losing there jobs everyday and cannot afford to take care of there families and these owners and players want to whine and cry about making millions per year and giving 30 million dollar guaranteed money to a rookie or to any body for that matter is sick and we wonder why the economy is so bad.

Except he's 3 inches taller 22 pounds heavier can jump higher and 6 years younger... and he's a bit faster... and can break more tackles... and has even better hands...

xinellum:
Mason and Boldin are simply not the same thing, nothing to do with being a twin of Mason. Completely different styles! The closest thing to a twin of Mason is Mark Clayton, NOT BOLDIN. Yes it would be great if mason returns, but Boldin by himself is an amazing upgrade!
You know what's the priority? A corner and/or a safety... I don't know about you but I am faar more concerned about getting Ed Reed back and a solid corner... or did you forget that our defense doesn't have a solid coverage corner?

I think Boldin is great news! It's exciting! If Mason returns it is even better! But right now I think the priority should be a corner back in case Webb doesn't get healthy.

Hopefully acquiring boldin will shift ed to come back to us, I'm still torn between pass rush and corner for our first rounder, it'll come down to who's best on the board at our pick

I actually think we will still get a reciever with the first pick, but it depends if we pick up a corner or not, hopefully we do, and if we do i think we will get a reciever or a pass rusher, cause there arent many pass rushers in free agency
