I Just Want To Know...

I've always been a fan of Troy, so when he started playing, I became a fan.

Call it whatever you want, but isn't it impressive that one player can turn a bunch of people from Ohio, Cleveland fans, into Baltimore fans.

lol everyone has to start somewhere at some point in time...i mean we all cant start out as Raven Fans or whatever team you cheer/root on......you have to build upon that and keep your word...ultimately building a Trust Relationship and everyone else.

I became a fan when Troy got drafted. It also helped that a career change brought my family to within 1.5 hours away from Baltimore

Just wondering who became a Raven because of Troy.

I've been a Ravens fan for all my life...but I started really becoming a diehard fan since my dad bought me QB club 98 (for N64) lol

I've been a BALTIMORE football fan all my life.

I was a Baltimore Colts fan in the 60's and 70's (met Johnny U at a book signing when I was only about 5 years old and worked for Artie Donovan at his country club when Burt Jones and the "Shake and Bake" defense were here), supported the Stallions when they and the CFL were in town, and have been a die hard Ravens fan since the beginning.

This is a tremendous football town, and I have been priviledged to see alot of our history there.

But we all have to start somewhere, and the Ravens have a proud heritage in the decade or so they have been here.

Welcome to everybody, new or old. You have come to the right place to watch football!!!

I was a BALTIMORE Colts fan and a Redskins fan I did not become a Ravens fan until 1998 after I went to my first game at the Vault then bought PSL's. We also had Stallion season tickets and went to Stars games at Byrd stadium.

I became a fan of Baltimore football due to gentlemen named Mr. Unitas, Mr. Moore, Mr. Berry, Mr. Marchetti, Mr. Parker, and other members of the 60s Colts' teams.

All come on now. If it took Troy Smith to make you a Ravens fan, with player like Lewis, Reed, Heap and passed players like Jackson Alexader, testavedy( I know I spelled it wrong) and the goose and the many others that played here. You can't be much of a fan.

Hah exactly, and it's not like Ohio fans don't have a NFL team in another conference, but even the same DIVISION as us! So yes, that is impressive.

I agree!!!! I don't think one reason is better than another reason for becoming a fan of a sports organization. The cards played out for me by moving close to Baltimore and also having one of the Best OSU quarterbacks in history getting drafted by Baltimore. If I were that guy I would say welcome to the family....but hey that is just me.

I was a niner's fan before the raven's came here in which case they became my team...I still keep an eye on the niner's but they're even more painful to watch in my opinion. I will admit though that I got on these boards because of Troy Smith and Troy Smith only. I'm almost more or Troy fan than I am a Raven's fan I dunno how much longer I can support them with Billick running things. Billick makes me sick I'd rather endure several hours of projectile vommitting than think about the fact that he's coming back next season.

i am a fan regardless. i support anyone that the organization brings in. i may not always agree, but what will that accomplish? let's go troy, let's go willis, let's go ray and everyone else on the roster!
