Deangelo Hall To The Ravens?

96 posts in this topic

The scary thing about D.hall is he is still very young and if he came to the ravens and had Ed reed, Ray and c-mac take him under their wings.. we could potentially be looking at a young champ bailey in the making

I'd love to see Hall in a Ravens jersey.

It ain't gonna happen, though.

Wouldn't shock me if he wound up playing for the Patriots. <_<

as would i. as i have said it would be a great pick up....and seeing how he has said that he's more than willing to go with any team that is willing to sign him....there COULD be a more than slight possibility of it actually happening. but then again....there are also 31 teams out there (excluding the Falcons...whom he wants to be traded from) that all have a equal shot at him.

I would love to get Hall, and i believe he would be a worth a 1st round pick, since we will most likely use are 1st rounder on a CB, I believe it would be wiser to use it on a CB we know is good, then on a possible player who could turn out to be a bust

eh i doubt that IF we do go after him and try to sign him to a deal here...we would give up our first round pick of the draft....maybe a second or third round pick, but i would not think a first.

I'm just saying he's worth what ever and i wouldn't mind them spending a 1st, but arn't we out a 3rd due to Mcgahee, or is it second, anyway i hope we make a move for him

thats why a second round pick would be most reasonable if a later pick cant be dealt out in an exchange for him.

not even. ray lewis and ed reed will teach him

There was a story that he got beat up by his own teammates after the Carolina loss, he got fined TWICE! Boo-hooed every time the falcons cut an older player and was basically a pain in the a** to everyone around him.

It isn't fair to Reed and Lewis to expect them to teach manners and etiquette to every malcontent we can possibly bring in.

whether or not the stories surrounding him are indeed True or not.....it could be too big of a risk factor for us trying to go afte him. i mean because IF....IF we go after him, we sign him...and everything seems all hunky dorey...then practices and games roll around and he starts opening his mouth about this and that...creating distractions and quite possibly a Locker Room "divided"......thats just something we dont want here.

I can understand why he is making a up roar in atlanta, look at how well there doing.. He is a very good young CB who just wants to win, Its hard to keep your cool when your one of the few on the team thats working hard and doing your job.

No it isn't that hard to keep your cool when you're losing. It's called being a professional. I suggest if we have to go out and get players we should try and get professionals.

you guys have to remember hall is still young, whatever reason for his problems with atlanta really isnt up to us to speak on. unless you were in the locker room or on the team how do you know what really happened?

As for not wanting to be in atlanta this one is ez, Why would any player want to be part of an organization that is falling apart?

Vick, they fired halls first year head coach, contracts issues, players on that team dont get along. He's not making the money he expected to make by now and he jus doesnt see his career moving forward around an organization like the falcons. The Falcons pretty much are done for.

I dont kow about you but i would "boo-hoo" 2 if i wasnt happy with my job. With all that being said a young player that obviously wants to be successful in the NFL shows that he is willing to start over and try a fresh start somewhere else. Coming to a veteran team where There are leaders left and right would only make this guy that much better.

And lets not forget he was a number 1 draft pick for a reason and he still is in the top half of the leagues CB's.

He will eventually become one of the leagues best shutdown corners and LEADER as he matures. And the best way to become a leader and gain maturity is by playing around a teamful of probowlers, vets, leaders, and winners. Ray Lewis can transform anyman. Ed reed is like a son to him. why do you think Reed is as good as he is today?

Hall should suck it up and play out his contract. If he really doesn't like his situation then yes, he should go ahead and seek a trade. But he shouldn't go ahead and turn it into a publicity circus.

There are no contract issues, Hall has publicly stated that he wants to forgo any long term deal talks and get paid Nate Clements money once the deal is over.

I don't think he'd do well on our team. We'd have to make him the highest paid corner. He'd last three years and then want a new deal because he wouldn't be the highest paid corner at that point. We'd tell him that we see no reason for a new deal. Then he'd start to complain again.

Like I've stated before, the idea that Ray Lewis and Ed Reed can just swoop in and make any malcontent Joe Teamwork is an absurd fantasy. Deangelo Hall will never become a leader because he is a jerk and acts like one.

Would be 3rd but I think we got another one due to losing Thomas in FA.

If we got one it would be a compensatory pick which cannot be traded. Unless we pick up a third through a trade we will not have a tradeable third round pick. Though I could see us picking up a third rounder for someone like Cory Ivy that we could use to get D. Hall.

1. he's not gonna get nate clemens money.

2. If he did come to baltimore the ravens staff and players wouldnt allow for him to be a cancer

3. STOP HATING, the guy is worth millions how much are you worth? He can complain if he wants to i think he's earn the right

4. no way would he get paid more than c-mac or reed,

5. Look at T.O. wasnt he a "cancer" to the eagles? didnt he get into a fight with his teammates? didnt he publicly put on his on show with the reporters? didnt he seek a trade mid way into his contract? And he is still the best WR in the game and has tranformed a Dallas team that use to hardly be worth mentioning. No problems in Dallas...

I don't want him period. Locker room cancer.

Thats a bit of an overstatement. I think at this point Hall is just frustrated with Atlanta. Even the great Deion Sanders got sick of that organization after a while. A change of scenario could do him some good.

1. He wants Nate Clements money. If we trade for him that's obviously what he'll ask for.

2. The best way to not allow him to be a cancer is to not trade for him.

3. The only way he would earn the right was if the Falcons promised him something like a huge raise this offseason they didn't. They actually pampered him by sitting him for one series after COSTING THEM THE GAME against Carolina. When he should have sat out an entire day at the very least.

4. What are you basing this on?

5. He had a lot of tantrums last year. It took a big pushover for a coach and I expect him to become a malcontent after Randy Moss gets a house made of solid gold.

6. I'll hate if I want, DeAngelo Hall isn't even a shutdown corner.

7. I'll hate if I want, DeAngelo Hall isn't even a shutdown corner.

Look what coach he had tho, the guy ran off before the season was over, he wasnt fit to coach "men" instead of the "boys" in college.

1. i want to marry jessica alba doesnt means its gonna happen, i want bill gates money doesnt mean its gonna hapen

2. said the same thing about randy moss. dont trade for him and there wont be an issue. wonder if the patriots regret that move. 18-0 ?? hmm i wonder

3. if your job played with your money, gave you a hard time, your employers messed with your coffe everyday, would you get frustrated and want a new job??

4. im basing this on the fact that your a hater and you obviously dont understand what benefits he could bring to the team, which also means you dont have the best interest at heart for the ravens....hypothetically

5. if in my 2? 3? years with a team my star qb was arrested, his back up traded, 2 coaches fired, one of them left b4 the season was over, my team sucked and my teammates and i didnt get along....im pretty sure i would speak out to or as you call it "tantrum" money aside its still a game, he is still a competitor and he wants a championship. when an organization doesnt share the same goals or at least show they arent trying to make serious strides towards a ring then its time to part ways. He has a Champion mentality he wants a ring. and hes frustrated atlanta is only getting worse

6. hard for a hater to do anything else but hate...not like you have a choice. (HENCE BEING A HATER)

He want's to be traded. He knows the Falcons will not trade him unless he makes it worth their effort to so. He's doing what he can to make it worth doing so to the organization. There's no rehabilitation or intervention by any other player or person needed.

He was whining and causing problems before Petrino left.

1. Are you dense? Look at the Darwin Walker case, he expected a large contract with the Bills, didn't get it and they had to give him up for practically nothing.

2. 18-0? More like 18-1. That's called manipulating the truth.

3. YOU NEED TO GIVE EXAMPLES OF THEM TAMPERING WITH HIS HYPOTHETICAL COFFEE. From now on I'm just gonna take your path and make up ****.

4. I'm a hater, you're from probably from Cincinnati, great move, let's tear apart the locker room with a malcontent.

5. Look at what Lito Sheppard is doing! He is unhappy, he is very quietly asking for a trade and the Eagles are complying. NO PUBLIC STATEMENTS OR PROMISES NOT TO RETURN. I would rather we trade for Lito Sheppard. Better corner, better personality.

6.Your a moron.

7. Get smarter

8. My god, give some examples before you try and talk smack and call me a hater. I don't want to see a negative attitude stinking up the locker room, it's alright for you to have absurd fantasies where Ed Reed and Ray Lewis inject happiness and sportsmanship into DeAngelo Hall. Allowing his heart to grow three sizes that day.

you sound like more of a cancer than D.Hall

your like a nagging wife that wont admit when she's wrong. im glad to have this debate with you, but i could probably have a more intelligent debate with a wall.

im sorry your against the ravens getting a younger shutdown corner all because you dont approve of his personality. your fanhood has just come into question. oh and i was Born and raised in baltimore. raven till i die. so by your standards ray should be released cuz he was on trial for murder? that was a big distraction in its own right. last time i checked billick was fired cuz he lost the locker room and it was deffense vs offense basically and they replaced him with a coach that isnt gonna allow that to happen a second go round., i guess u wouldnt want randy moss either if we could get him? or T.O.? what about albert haynesworth? or harrison from the pats? i guess we should release c-mac to for holding out in training camp when we had the franchise tag on him. ray lewis spoke out against the head coach on a radio show by your standards he should have been fired by now, right? if your only afrguement against hall is he wants to be traded from a disfunctional organization, wants more money,(what nfl player doesnt) and his personality doesnt gel with you? than its pretty weak. perfect example since you need so many...tryvor pryce in denver was having issues with the team, was thinking about retiring. had issues in the locker room....ravens signed him and the following season he is a beast. and who did he give credit to? ray lewis. talked about how he loved playing beside the greatest football player in the league and talked about how he inspires and fires him up to leave everything on the field. if you seriously think that d. hall would come into ray lewis's house and disrespect his team by having a negative attitude and ray not doing something about it ?? if you do your CRAZY.

Enough said about d.hall, ur prolly a boller lover.
