Salary Cap Question

If 2 teams trade players, say Willis McGahee for Malcolm Floyd( just a tease) do the teams suffer any salary cap hits for the player traded away?

Don't quote me on this but if this would happen this year there would be no salary cap bc it is an uncapped year.... that is what i believe i have read...

No, because the contract transfers to the new team and it is up to the new team to re-negotiate the deal to bring them under the cap, etc. if necessary.
