Would You Rather...?

Here is a fun game to keep me surviving the offseason. I'll start out with a good one: ideally, would you rather have jamal lewis in his prime or ray rice starting at running back?

I'd take Rice. Jamal ran through LBs and past CBs but Rice can attack a D in multiple ways.

Who would you rather have as a starting CB, David Pittman or Frank Walker?

oh god! talk about forehead slaps :34853_doh:! I would have to take Walker on this one. Although he is terrible and would much rather have almost anyone else, he did show promise towards the end of the season. pittman showed little or no promise from the time i started watching him.

Would you rather have Oniel Cousins as our starting tackle for the entire next year or have Mason retire and us not sign/draft any new recievers?

Wouldn't matter, it'd be a losing season either way considering Flacco doesn't deal with pressure well, and without even Mason at WR the offense would be pretty inept.

I guess I'd take Cousins as at least then we'd have Mason.

Would you rather sweep Pitt but get sweeped by Cincy, or sweep Cincy but get sweeped by Pitt?

Are you kidding? Sweeping Pitt is so much more satisfying than beating Cincy.

Would you rather have Michael Oher or Calvin Johnson for the coming season?

Probably sweep Pitt. I dont know why but I just hate them so much more. Plus I dont really see the Bengals going too far next year, so Pitt would be more beneficial.

Would you rather have Ray Lewis abruptly retire right before game one of next year or lose Flacco in the first game like the pats lost Brady in 08?

Megatron in purple would be awesome but Oher is so good in pass pro and run-blocking(and will only get better), I'd take him .

Lol two moviestars, transformers and the blindside. this is a close one, i would have to take megatron on this one. although oher is good, he is not the greatest, which IMO Calvin is one of the greatest and his talent is being wasted. we can get another tackle who produces like big mike, but it is very very hard to find megatron talent.

I wont think of a new question because my old one stands unanswered:

I think losing Ray all of a sudden (For whatever reason) would only fuel the team and motivate them to prove themselves without him.

Also it would push Flacco to really become the motivational leader he's going to become for this team.

Would you rather get Brandon Marshall and lose Flacco for the season. Or not get Brandon Marshall OR Stallworth and have the same wide receiver corp with Flacco all season again?

That is an impossible question. I think I would rather Ray retire than to lose Flacco. We'd be screwed either way.

that gives me heartburn just thinking about. The problem is that the receivers and flacco need to go together, not one or the other so I guess I would rather have Flacco.

it depends on if we get troy smith back or not, i have a lot of confidence in that guy, despite everyone's criticism. I think that receiving corps would make most any Qb pretty dirty though.

I'd rather have the same WR corps and Flacco and I don't think its even a debate. A playmaking WR is great but what's the point when you don't have a QB to get him the ball consistently? Plus, Flacco's development is one of the most important aspects of this team and needless to say, missing an entire season due to injury would hurt him big-time.

Staying on topic, would you rather have Peter Boulware(in his prime) or Terrell Suggs?

Im going to have to say Boulware here. Suggs is a great player, but i would much rather have on of the greatest. Boulware was one of my favorite lbs back in the day.

Would you rather have Adalius Thomas in his prime of JJ?

hmm, I'll go with Ngata (didn't watch as much of the Goose years as I do now)

If Willis were to go down right now who would you rather sign...LT or Westbrook?

LT. They both have their shares of injuries but Westbrooks are threw the roof....

Who would you want to go after if the team was going to make a trade: Revis or Marshall?

Ill answer some of these. Ngata is far more athletic than Goose ever was, and just as big, Ngata any day of the week. Adalius Thomas in his prime in Baltimore from 04-06 was a player JJ could only hope to be, AD was far more explosive, faster, stronger, quicker off the line, better in coverage and more physically imposing. Boulware or Suggs is a toss up, Boulware was only a speed rusher whereas Suggs has multiple moves. Suggs is also a little better in run coverage IMO, Suggs is coming around in pass coverage but Boulware's pass coverage was under rated IMO.

In a trade Revis or Marshall, id have to say Revis strictly because of Marshall's baby TO syndrome. Revis is a shutdown corner at age 24 and the best in the league. With him we'd be able to blitz ridiculous amounts and apply insane pressure much like we did in 06 with CMac.

What if Arrelious Benn is there at 25 and runs under a 4.45 at the combine?

I'm pretty sure this organization isn't run by Al Davis. I don't think the 40 time at the combine affects the decision too much.

and to put it to perspective, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.51.

I agree, but Cincy sweeping us last year really stung considering they just weren't that great a team. Neither were we though.

Would you rather have have B.J. Sams returning kicks before the injuries or 2000 Jermine Lewis

BJ was a beast before the injuries, so i would have to go with him, I always wished that he was never released.

Would you rather trade our first round pick for troy polamalu or trade for santonio holmes for the same price?

I'm not a big fan of Santonio Holmes, I respect him and think he's a good receiver though.

I would rather take Troy Polamalu for our first, no question.

Ed Reed and Troy on the field for the same defense? that's just unfair.

lol what, Mayock has Benn ranked the #2 receiver, and told the Baltimore Sun Benn was a guy the Ravens should be looking at long and hard at #25.

lol dont make me out to be a Madden fantasy guy, I just meant it as would that seal the deal on Benn.

With the way the league is becomming, I would take holmes. I wouldnt mind having Polomalu but I think Landry is doing just fine and we need a WR more than almost anything.

Would you rather have Fabian W or Foxworth for the next 6 years?

Foxworth, no doubt.

He started playing really well towards the end of the season.

Would you rather have the Ravens franchise move to another city or stay in Baltimore and change their name to the Clowns (silly, I know)

Thats a toughy. Any other name but the Clowns and it would be fine lol maybe the Baltimore Crabs?

Kind of a different type of question here....Would you rather the Ravens be 7-9 and worse and be dissapointed but have 1 good year and win a superbowl every 5 years OR be 11-5 and better every year, choke in the playoffs and only win a superbowl every 10 years?

I would rather have them in another city, mostly because i live in Virginia, so it really wouldn't make much of a difference to me.

I will have to take the two super bowls every ten years, I don't think if i had the choice i would want to wait ten years for a super bowl.

Would you rather have Kyle Boller or Elvis Grback at starting qb?
