That tackle on Yamon Figurs on the kickoff by Niko Khoutevides looked almost like it should've been a facemasking penalty...

But wow, Mike Anderson did a baseball slide for the 1st down and looks like he got hurt...and we're running out of tailbacks...

And now, it looks like LeRon McClain fumbled on the next handoff...

WOW...this team really IS snakebitten... :(

If the game continues with injuries like this, we'll be stuck running singleback formations with only one tight end and maybe three-receiver sets (so let's hope none of the receivers get hurt, if that ends up being the case).

how can we test this rookie if he never gets to throw the ball???

why is the game plan RUN when you're down by 21 points?

He IS getting chances to throw the ball, but he's been tucking the ball and running more often than not.

Granted, some of those runs have come as a result of the O-line collapsing, but there've been other times where Troy Smith has been jitterish with his movement in the pocket.

Funny, though, NOW people understand why Billick had chosen to pass more than run in earlier games...I mean, if you're facing a deficit, of course you'll pass.

In the cases where Billick has chosen to run in this 2nd half, however, it's been for field position to give Troy Smith a bit of comfort.

Keep in mind that the team has lost the field position battle during punts and kickoffs thus far, so Smith hasn't been given much to work with.

This is BULL! The freakin' Hawks aren't even playing all that well! These freakin' anouncers are pissing me off! Hasselbeck has been just throwing it up, and our corners are wiffing! If our corners were in, we'd have 5 INTs! I HATE these announcers! DOMINATION??!! Half our team is out!

This is depressing! McNair, Boller, HEAP, Wilcox, MCGAHEE, Mcallister, Rolle, LEWIS, Pryce, and who knows who else!!! They're acting like they get this big gold star for running on us. LEWIS IS OUT! They act like Hasselbeck is awesome for throwing on us. MCALLISTER AND ROLLE ARE OUT! They act like their defence is amazing. MCNAIR, MCGAHEE, HEAP, WILCOX AND BOLLER ARE OUT PLUS WE ARE STARTING OUR ROOKIE QB!!!

Man, this sucks! I can't wait to next year.

Well, it's like I've been saying over and over again:

"It's EASY to be a fan when your team is WINNING."

Keep that in mind if anyone gets emotional later from a possible loss, should the score stand as-is.

i'm a fan through and through. Im more upset that I'm not watching this game (first game i've missed since i lived in Chicago 3 years ago) than that we're losing.

Hmm...another example of how the media wants to crown the Patriots:

Notice the graphic that just came up on the screen about the best home record in the NFL, and how the Patriots are on top?

Note how it said the best home record since 2001.

In previous game broadcasts, the graphic has been the best home record since 2000. Which I believe the Ravens are tied with the Broncos, but I'm not sure. Either way, I know it's better than the Pats' home record, in that case.

So hmmmm...

yea antoine cason....could shred a receiver to peices.....he looks like a play maker....draft a cb and sign one in the offseason.....corey ivy is NOT the answer yea he makes a couple of good plays but thats once every 3 games we need some1 whos going to be a consistent playmaker.....what do you think of how troy smith is playing??? 9/21 for 60 yards......four more passes and he'll break mcnairs record for least amount of yards with 13 completions
