Week 16: Baltimore Ravens At Seattle Seahawks

Doesn't help that Troy Smith isn't calming down whenever he drops back.

He keeps trying to force throws and trying to make things happen with risky scrambles.

I just want Smith to walk out of this game healthy, period. The way he's playing, he's just asking to get hurt.

Gonna go wash the dog now. I may or may not be back. If the Raven's football team was an automobile engine, I'd say it was time for a complete rebuild!

Ah...that fumble was unfortunate, Smith was actually starting to show poise in the pocket and looked like he calmed down, too...

Hmm...maybe I'll stay for the rest of the game for the heck of it...

On a side note, I'm contemplating doing a Ravens video blog on YouTube if I invest in a decent webcam...good idea?

hopefully the second half will be better. we never played well in the first half last season and we were successful. hopefully the same will hold here.

troy's got a full quarter under his belt, maybe he'll calm down a bit.

He is remarkably calm considering the pocket is collapsing around him on every play!!!

is mcgahee hurt? i apologize but im out of town and cant get the game.

McGahee was slow to get up after a play in the 1st quarter, and he's been on the bench since.

I don't believe he'll return, but I'm not sure.

No word on McGahee -- but he has been out since 1st quarter -- maybe if they stopped taking all the commercial breaks we could get some commentary

Im stuck watching this stinking patriots game and the refs keep calling all these BS plays...this looks familiar.

Maybe if I switch to my white Deion Sanders jersey to match the guys on the field, maybe things'll look up? :P

I have that jersey and i LOVE that jersey. I say wear it.

who won the initial toss, who gets the ball in Q3?

I'm actually very impressed in Smith this first half. Sure, his numbers dont show it, but half of those incompletion's shouldve been caught. I think he could throw his first TD pass in the second half. Troy is showing excellent decision making, (except for that one throw). He looks like he could be a great QB.

Mike Anderson breaks off a NICE 16-yard run on the first play of the half after Baltimore gets the ball for their first possession!

Meanwhile, my mind is made up, I think I WILL start my Ravens video blog on YouTube!...

...once I find a decent webcam that's not too expensive, but good enough for my purposes.

I AM a college student, y'know. I'll be broke once Spring classes start up. ;)
