Nice open-field tackle by Nick Grieson on Leonard Weaver to stop him short of the first down in space.

In a side note, wow...it took them roughly half of the first quarter for the Patriots to score their first TD against the Dolphins.

Hmm...

troy has three yards from three passes, and willis has three yards from three rushes. That symetry makes up for those poor stats IMO :)

BTW, nice Broadway showgirl-like move by Nate Burleson to try to punt the lobbed ball away before it got picked off...

...too bad he missed and looked stupid. :P

EJ ON THE MIC!

No, no, no, I already established this in the other thread, that's my new phrase for whenever a Raven gets a SACK.

Decent scatback by McGahee to take it back to the original line of scrimmage on 1st-and-15.

That's been indicative of the ground game all season, where McGahee has made plays on his own when the offensive line has broken down.

FINALLY, SOMEONE in the media recognizes McGahee's contribution to the Ravens offense...

...too bad it had to happen on a play where he gets hurt. :(

NICE 1st-down catch by Mason, and nice second effort to get past the first-down marker after going backwards (even though forward progression would, in theory, still have given him the first down).

Some angles say it's a catch, but one angle KINDA looks like the front of the ball may have bounced slightly off the ground before it was caught, but again, it has to be INDISPUTABLE evidence for the call to be overturned, so the ref has to be 100% sure.

If he's not 100% sure, he can't overturn it, even if there's a gut feeling that tells him it should be overturned. The evidence has to be there.

Interesting...Cullen Finnerty is wearing #8, the same number Kyle Boller wore his rookie season...

For a second there, I almost thought Boller was the one standing behind Billick on the sideline. :P
