Troy Smiths first start should be good. Hopefully our CB's don't spoil it for Troy.

As long as those CBs you're referring to are Pittman and Ivy they will.

Hmm...I'm not sure I can take another dramatic game against the Seahawks like the one in 2003 with Anthony Wright as the starting QB, connecting with his old college teammate Marcus Robinson for multiple TD's...

Let's just hope that Shaun Alexander gets shut down and Matt Hasselbeck gets confused as to which jersey he's supposed to throw to, and we'll be fine. ;)

Does anyone know if you can listen to the game from the 98 Rock website? Or any other website without paying for that dumb fieldpass thing from nfl.com?

Unfortunately I'll be traveling to Miami right after they beat us but I will definately still be wearing my Ray Lewis jersey everywhere I go.

I'm hoping I can find a bar or something with the game but thats goign to be hard so I gotta atleast listen to it!!!

who knows..maybe they will turnout to be pretty good and show great promise for us but then again...we mustnt get our hopes up, as they will need to do it CONSISTANTLY week to week, play to play, down to down....kind of basis...

For anyone trying to follow along on the internet who don't have access to a radio or TV for Sunday's game, I'll see if I can track down a radio station's website that WILL (legally) broadcast play-by-play of the game, just as there was one for the Dolphins game.

I checked ESPN1300's website, and that's not really play-by-play online, it's actually just analysts in-studio commenting on the game with the occasional play-by-play look-in. 98Rock's website does not broadcast the game online, neither.

However, there is the outside chance that Seattle may have an FM station that has broadcast rights to play-by-play for the Seahawks that DOES stream their broadcast online, as the Dolphins did.

Remember, though, any online source other than NFL.com's FieldPass is technically illegal, unless it's a radio station's website with explicit broadcasting rights online. Therefore, any links should not be posted for any P2P clients (including Sopcast) or other websites that provide illegal services, as that violates the Code of Conduct, and I don't want to see anyone banned for a stupid reason such as posting a link.

but our team working as a team and have the Offense Rallying around Troy and his Composure and Leadership and overall poise...along with McGahee's ability to elude would be tacklers and use his excellent vision to pick up those extra yards....and with our defense creating turnovers and stopping the SeaHawks Offense (for the most part) we surely can do well in this game.....Plus Troy's smart decision making process will be a vital key in how are offense plays out.....which i feel he will do just fine. and as the game and time goes on, you will see him become more comfortable with what is going n and things will begin to come as "second nature" to him. and his decision making process...

I'm up early and getting geared up for the Game! I'm taking the family and a buddy of mine to Buffalo Wild Wings (The best place to watch a football game bar none)!

Good luck today Ravens and Troy pretend the other side is wearing Maize and Blue & have winged helmets! Kick some A$$ Troy! ;)

i would expect Troy to have himself a fairly decent game.....ultimately a game in which he get's an overall feeling of what "first string Defense's are kind of like" kind of thing....and i would expect him to (as he gets more and more comfortable as the game wear's/goes on....to find the open man and the open holes from within the opponents defense rather much easier that say at the beginning..but who really knows...i mean he COULD come out of the starting gate firing on all cylinders and keep that pace and intensity throughout the whole game, so i guess we'll just have to wait and see

It's weird, but I'm strangely pumped for this game.

I mean, it's still a subdued excitement, given the fact that this game means almost nothing, but I think that's what adds a bit to that feeling.

I just pray that everyone comes out healthy, first and foremost, and that Troy Smith has a great game and gives us something to smile about today.

Of course, if Troy plays well, there'll be plenty of people who suddenly say he should've been starting all season, blah-blah-blah, but I'm sure I'll be able to deal with those short-term thinkers as they come. ;)

as am i pumped to see how this offense and this team overall can respond to the way Troy plays and stays Calm. and yes everyone i think should pray for a no-injury, or no SERIOUS type injury in this game...which hopefully Troy's talent and McGahee's Speed and vision, along with the good play of our defense in creating turnovers......which hopefully puts us as the Victourious one's.

Are we sure he's starting, Kyle definitely hasnt recovered from the concussion?

Billick said on Wednesday, if Kyle missed practice Thursday, Troy would definitely get the start. He missed both days, and Troy has been named the starter.

This could be a banner day for all the S.P.O.T.S guys, and Ohio State (now Ravens) Troy Smith fans. We have believed in him from the start.
