Section For New Members

Ok, I just had this Idea. Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't. There could be a section for "practice squad" members. This would weed out all of the people who create an account just to create one thread that is usually in bad taste.

Now, during the season there usually are a few DECENT fans from other teams, so there could be a section for that too so we can still talk football with some of the cool people that visit when their team is playing us. Ofcourse if they stick around long enough to lose their "practice squad" ranking, they would be able to post in ALL of the forums as well.

Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't who knows? But It would create a place for the regulars to post without much annoyance from trolls be they Ravens fans or fans of any other team

I don't think that is feasible, but what you can do as a "seasoned" poster help the new posters without putting them down. Even the best posters here were new at one time or another.

I totally agree with this. When I read the title to this thread, I thought, that would be a good idea for new posters to ask questions without the 'older' posters jumping all over them. Some of the responses are very rude.

I understand that the new section isn't feasible and I'm not fighting for it... I guess I'm just venting since I can't stand the "holier than thou" attitude of some posters towards newbies innocently asking questions or voicing opinions.
