According to Mike Florio, the Bengals are planning to let Shayne Graham walk. I think the Ravens should sign him and let him compete with Cundiff for the job.

Why? He was horrible down the stretch. — converted 23 of 28 field goal attempts (82.1 percent) with a long FG of 53 yards in 2009.However, his misses from 35 and 28 yards against the New York Jets in the Wild Card playoff are what I remember the most.

This season he was 23 for 28 with a long of 53. 3 of his missed kicks were blocked.

I would give him a shot with Baltimore.

True, but I would still bring him in and let him compete for the job.

They gave him plenty of time to establish a criminal record. They just got tired of waiting.

HAHA! That's funny. No Thank you, I just don't understand the whole finding another kicker. Now don't get me wrong, I love the idea of bringing in another Kicker to compete with Cundiff, whether it's Stover, Gano, Graham, whoever. I'm all for giving Cundiff a chance to earn his job and I'm glad Harbs is going to have a real competition this year and not just give it away like last year. I think no matter who he brings in, Cundiff is going to win out, all we need is a new long snapper or get Katula to get a rhythm going with how Cundiff Kicks so he is use to it.

If it's possible just have Cundiff work on his leg strength so he can kick long field goals if he needs to and work on his accuracy along with having a good long snapper and Cundiff will be fine.

Graham is one of the biggest CHOKERS in crunch time. I talk to alot of Bengals fans on espn.com/afcn and they tell me he hits everything till the game is on the line.

Didn't stover Choke in the super bowl......

Anyways, I could careless what we do. Kickers are kickers. They are the least of this teams worries. Maybe if we can get some recievers and tight ends who can get open, we would only need them for chip shot extra points.

What's with you people and kickers lol

I still think its funny the Bengals franchise tagged him last year. Now they are gonna release him? guess its no funnier than them being interested in pacman and already signing Matt Jones...

I understand your point, but eventually you are going to run into a GOOD team where you can't afford to miss at all. No matter what WRs we have. I agree that Kicker isn't nearly the team's biggest need, but it's still important.

Also, Matt Stover didn't choke in the Super Bowl

Stover didn't choke in the SB, his idiot coach made him kick a FG a distance he had not made in years. What was Stover going to do say no? lol

Graham does have a history of choking, that and given his age, I would rather bring in a younger kicker just for the sake of competetion if nothing else. That's just common practice. As for Stover chocking in the SB. If he could make that kick he would still be a Raven, and the Indy punter would not be kicking off. Caldwell owns that one, gotta know your players!

You have been here long enough to know better.....Stover was way out of his range on that kick.
