Troy is a man, not a boy. I think he has been around long enough to take a loss like a man, and learn from any errors he might make.

But the truth is Troy Smith is a proven winner. With Kyle banged up why not give Troy a chance to prove himself? I think he would surprise a lot of folks and give us a victory against a tough opponent in Seattle.

I hope everyone knows I meant nothing derisive by my comment about Troy Smith.

With his illustrious college career he deserves nothing but respect in the NFL. Unfortunately he has not gotten it so far.

So I and the other S.P.O.T.S. members are lobbying hard to get him as much playing time as possible. You only learn in this life by doing, by repetitiion, and yes sometimes by making mistakes. Troy will never develop by reading and memorizing a play book! He will learn, and gain some much needed respect, by playing and proving with his actions on the field that he has what it takes.
