than we have a much better chance of winning the superbowl

What if we were to ever get Calvin Johnson from the Lions?
[/quote]

Joe Flacco would be a very happy QB and we probably would be in the Super Bowl.

What if Ray Lewis becomes our Defensive Coordinator 2-3 years after he retires?(I'm sure he'll want to a few years away to be with family before getting back in as a Coordinator)

He would get Ed Reed as Safety trainer and we would have a dominate defense (again!)

What if we beat the Patriots in 07?

Roger Goodell would have fired all the refs and then the owners would have fired Goodell.

What if we drafted Andre Johnson back in the '03 draft instead of Terrell Suggs? (Supposing the Texans drafted Suggs and the previous teams let Johnson pass).

We would end up drafting another OLB in later drafts and rounds of the same draft. Maybe Shawn Merriman or maybe LaMar Woodly. That would, of course, make so many changes to us through draft it is too complicated to explain. But if we just had Andre instead of Suggs we would most likely be a lot better and maybe win a SB as well as have Kruger start.

What if the Super Bowl is hosted in Baltimore and the Steelers win it?

Ok we all know a Super Bowl won't be hosted in a cold weather city despite the Giants/Jets bidding to host the 2014 SB, but for this purpose.... if there was a SB hosted in Baltimore and the Steelers even played in it, not win it, just play in would cause Baltimore to Riot!!! The Steelers winning will cause an even bigger Riot!!!! :readthethread: This would be the scene outside M&T Bank except minus the Read The Thread, but it was the only close to someone rioting that I could find. There will be someone with a sign outside the stadium the whole SB with a sign that says "If STEELERS WIN, WE RIOT!" That's exactly what would happen.

Our pass rush would be totally non existent without Suggs, could put up all the points in the world with Johnson but we wouldnt be able to stop anyone.

True but like I said he would have probably been replaced in a later draft like maybe Merriman.

Also, Suggs has injury problems unlike Johnson and their are lots of teams that simply outscore other teams, EX: Colts, Patriots, Saints, Cardinals, Eagles, etc. A LOT of sucessful teams with mediocre defenses. But even without Suggs, our Defense would still be scary.

What if Bart Scott never left(and we magicly had cap space for Suggs as well)?

Ya but those offenses have elite QBs. This is only the first year Suggs has been hurt and missed games, for an OLB that is remarkable, also you cant really compare a WR to an OLB in terms of injury problems. Johnson is bigger than everybody in the secondary, when is he going to get hurt realistically. We have 2 playmakers on defense without Suggs, and they are Lewis and Reed. GOAT at their positions but theyre both on the downside of their careers.

this is the first time in his career he has ever missed a game due to injury.... plz do some sort of research before you make that kind of a statement?

Suggs even with a contract plays like he is preserving himself for another one.

NOTHING. Flacco would have eventually wont the job and nothing would be different.

What if Ed Reed played both ways and became our star receiver and FS?

what if no one answer's my question :/

Currently he has been having injury problems that are probably not going to go away for the rest of his career

proof?

Then his career would have already ended, or be very close to ending (not counting his neck injury)

and again, What if Jason Garret never turned down the HC position?

then my favorite song would be "Pink" by Aerosmith...

What if someone beats Chris Johnson's 4.24 forty time at the Combine this year? (Al Davis jokes aside)

We'd be laughing ourselves silly!

What if Jamal Lewis hadn't gotten hurt in training camp in 2001, with Elvis at QB, would the Ravens had repeated as Super Bowl champs?

hmm now thats a good one... I'm going to have to speculate that the ravens would have gone to one heck of a season and been a heavy favourite to win any game they played in. however seeing how anyone can win on any given Sunday i will just stop now lol.
now... What if we let go of troy Smith and mcgahee and they come back to be the defining factor when we play their new team? any hard feelings you think?

People would have to remember that this is a team sport not an individual sport.... so it wasn't "Just" that one guy that would have beaten us...

Smith I'd have to say sort of... but not really.... wasn't really his fault on what went down with his illness, and him being a winner knows you don't stop what keeps you winning

McGahee idk... He'd understand his contract business but him being 27 and RB's dying at 30 ... I'm sure he'd like a bit of revenge

What if Mark Clayton goes to Arizona or New Orleans and becomes a beast of a WR?

me and my 15 second forty have a better chance of becoming a beast of a wr then clayton.. i can at least catch the ball..

What if we trade for a big name WR this offseason and give them an extension but lose Ngata to a higher bidder when his contract is up?

This thread was the bomb. I found it so I felt like commenting. Also, why did I think Suggs had injury problems??? He was fat and probably will suffer another injury in the future, but why would I think that? LOL

To awnser the last question, then we would replace him in next years draft although we would win a Super Bowl this year, and our defense may drop to good instead of elite depending on if Ray or Ed hang em up.

What if we never traded our pick to the Broncos and ended up taking Kyle Wilson or Jared Odrick (probably Wilson) with the 25th pick (therefore losing Kindle, Dickson, and Pitta).
