Since you didn't ask a ? I will.

What if Suh fell beyond #9 in this years draft? not likely, but do we pull the trigger to get him?

Suh, Ngata, Gregg, and Sizzle HOLY SHEESH! Our D line would be a brick Wall and we would have a top 3 DE tandem in the NFL
[/quote]

Suh is a DT in the 4-3 and a DE in the 3-4

So our line up would look like
Suggs Suh Ngata Kruger/Edwards
Which is still pretty formidable

Suh and Ngata would just be nasty in the middle plus Suh is an excellent pass rusher and when Ngata commands a double team anyways, Suh would get so many opportunities for a one on one or an open lane to the unfortunate QB.

If we played the Jets, I say we would win that game. I know Rex has a strong D, but our team is extremely familiar with the Ryan scheme, therefore we would have found ways around it.

What if Grbac panned out in his first season and put up +4000yds?

If Grbac panned out we would have been the dynasty of the 2000s

hell if we had some what of a functional offense from 2000-2008 we could have picked up multiple titles. Our D was nasty!

What if the refs werent so CLEARLY biased towards New England in that 2007 MNF game?

The Ravens would have won, and I would have felt bittersweet since I wanted to see the Pats go undefeated, and our season was over anyways.

What if Rice broke out his rookie year, and was the starter in the AFC championship?

We still would have lost I think, Pitt was just flat out better last year (but not anymore :dancingbanana:)

What if Ed Reed retires this year? How do we do next season?

If Reed retires, I think we will be in good condition with Zibby in his stead. However thats not to take anything from Ed Reed. He is definitely a playmaker! I have to say Zibby looked pretty decent filling in for him mid-season. I think we will be good though. Tom Zbikowski will have to make people learn his name just as Ed Reed did, and he has been tutored by Reed for the past 2 seasons.

What if T.O. becomes a Raven???

With TO, the offense upgrades and Mason would't have to be doubled all the time.

What if Stallworth breaks out like Randy Moss did with New England?

Stallworth would get a new, long-term deal next year making him a raven for life and we would be that much closer to winning supperbowl XLV. Hmm.. we won SB 35. Now were at 45. What are the chancess... haha actually the AP puts us at 25-1 but i say 1-1. haha

What if the Indianapolis professional football team never left Baltimore?

Too many variables. I'll just say the world would be different.

What if Derrick Mason had caught the pass in the end-zone against Pittsburgh this past season?

what if we draft no WRs or TEs in the upcoming draft?

Then we'd better hope what we have plays better than ever.

What if we'd hired Rob Ryan to replace Rex?

What If our first 3 rounds of the draft went like this:

1) Jermaine Gresham TE

2) Toby Gerhart HB

3) Myron Rolle S

I would be either ecstatic or disappointed depending on the offseason moves made. If Reed retires, and Mcgahee is traded, I wouldn't rule out the scenario. But, if we have the personnel we have right now, I would take everybody except for Gresham off.

To answer Ravenglenn's unanswered question
I think Rob Ryan wouldn't have much of an impact here in Baltimore. He had a great Shutdown Corner in Nnamdi Asomugha and a good pass rusher in Derrick Burgess back in Oakland, but did not do much. He didn't really prosper in Cleveland either. Though a better defensive unit like the Ravens might have tapped his "potential", he didn't really have a bad unit back then, but did nothing.

What if the Ravens won the Superbowl with our starting wideout group right now? How would it affect the next offseason?

If we won with the receiving corp we have now, I think we would go after a top WR prospect. I feel this year is the year to get that guy though and he needs to be young to grow with Joe, we keep saying we need a guy to grow with Joe, well we dont want him in 4 seasons to finally get his running mate.

Back on topic. I think we adress Defense hard! we try to get a top tier MLB to replace Ray Ray. I think we may already have that guy on our team.

What if Justin Harper and Eron Riley show up and kill it in camp and pre-season out performing all WR's, what would our depth chart look like???

1) Derrick Mason (if you assume he doesn't retire)
2) Kelly Washington/Donte Stallworth
3) Eron Riley/Justin Harper
4) Mark Clayton (in the slot)

What if we didn't lose to the dolphins in 07?

Billick may have kept his job for one more season. We may not have had Cam. We wouldnt have drafted Flacco and probably would have had Chad Henne or Brian Brohm as our QB this past season due to Billick being fired. Me may even have Mark Sanchez as our starter (thank god that didnt happen) There are too many variables but I think the Dolphin loss was the nail in the coffin. That strong showing in NE would have helped him keep the HC position.

What if we took a shot on Drew Brees when he was released from SD?

There would have been no way we didnt win a super bowl in 06, and would have arguably been one of the most dominant teams of all time in a single season.

In this decade, they would be the Colts and the Patriots.

What if McNair played well versus the Colts and won? Would that have lengthened his years in the league and retire later?

RIP

He probably still would have gotten hurt the next season. Im not sure it would have lengthened his years. Probably would have solidified him a spot in the HOF

Will Baltimore pay for a top tier WR this year, or do we wait another season??

as much as I hate the steelers... why wouldn't it be them after all they won 2 SB's in the decade as well?

---------------------------------
to answer the last question

It depends... if a new CBA happens then yes.. if not, than not in FA

What if the NFL goes PPV?

Because the Steelers were never on the same level as the Pats were in the first part of the decade and havent enjoyed the regular season success that Indy has since 02. It depends on how u classify dynasties, for me its championships only and you have to win more than 2 in a 5 year span. In my own opinion the only dynasty in the NFL this decade was the Patriots.

Oh, I agree with the Pats being the only dynasty of the decade, but was just curious about the what if answer.... yeah regular season success is great.... and if that was the qualification... then Philly who has yet to win a SB would be considered a "Dynasty" as well.. thats why I wanted to know why Indy would be considered 2nd on the dynasty list for this last decade

Well McNabb wont be the one to beat us. It would have to be Kevin Kolb. If they beat us, they would get their first Lombardi trophy. That is all.

Im certain Flacco wouldnt pull a Manning by not shaking hands. Peyton Manning showed his true colors as a sore loser and crybaby after losing the SB

What if Ozzie trumps the draft and picks nothing but starter quality personnel. All picks shine and become Oher-isqe immediately
