I still miss Billick's wit. He was a fun guy to watch on the sideline and in front of the press.

I don't think you can argue with Harbaugh getting us to the post-season twice in a row his first two years though.

Amen to that man, Billick was awesome in press conferences and on the sidelines

Both had identical records of 20-12 for the first two years.
Harbaugh made the playoffs in both years.
Billick made the playoffs 1 of 2 years.

did billick ever make playoffs 3 years in a row? i think this stat is kinda forshadowing Billick wound up to be off and on while Harbs hasnt shown me anything less than playoffs and at least the devisional round

The Ravens have never been to the playoffs three times in a row. Baltimore has only had two back-back playoff appearances in franchise history, for that matter.

How was Billick off and on during his first two seasons? He coached the Ravens to the best regular season record that they had ever had and then went to the SuperBowl. Billick went from 8 wins to 12 wins; Harbaugh went from 11 wins to 9 wins.

Harbs doesn't give memorable quotes?

With that in mind, does anyone else think that last year's playoff videos were cooler than this years?

That's kinda what I meant, Harbs sounds a little to much like a middle school football coach. "What's our name," "We got hearts this big," "Mighty Men."

Billick was more in your face, kick into the lions den, where is that SoB. Good times. And don't get me wrong, I like the move to Harbaugh, but I miss those Billick press conferences.

I think Billick was a better coach as far as connecting with his players and communicating ideals, I just believe he found himself in a bad situation after a few stagnant years.

Also the simple fact that he came into a losing organization and made it a super bowl winner in less than two years is an amazing feat in itself. Harbaugh sort of came into a semi-successful franchise with core players and built upon that.

Do I like our chances though? Gotta love our chances.
