Worst Horror Movies

15 posts in this topic

so we have best this and best that, how about some worsts?

For worst horror movie, I nominate The Dorm That Dripped Blood. I saw it maybe a year after it came out and it is truly as bad as it looks in this trailer.

Any takers?

I've seen some really bad ultra-low budget horror films. The worst one was probably called the Bone Collector. The acting was awful, the writing was stupid, and you could hear the tape in the camera running in most of the indoor shots. The only saving grace was a small cameo by Lloyd Kaufman (president of Trauma Films)

From recent memory......Paranormal Activity. God, that movie sucked hind you know what.

I'd say from back in the day, any movie from the "Critter" series.....

EDIT: Sadly, I could not resist the $6 (delivered) price and I now own this piece of trash. :34853_shakehead:

There is no equal to the crapfest that is this movie, and for that reason, it is truly awesome.

"Nilbog! Nilbog is goblin spelled backwards. This is their kingdom!"

The remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it's prequel. They missed everything that made the original so good.

Gore does not equal good scares.
(That goes for you too Hostels 1 & 2)

Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Who could ever forget the cotton candy cocoons? :bitenails:

Killer Klowns from Outer Space was awesome.
It gave me nightmares as a young child.

What could be better than a clown alien using Dean Wormer as a dummy?

It was so bad it came around full circle and was actually cool. But it was bad.

Time Bandits gave me nightmares as a wee one. That Rhino-man wrapped in plastic.

Going way back: Night of the Lepus. Everything about that movie was stupid.

I can recall watching that flick late on a Friday night. Scary, but not too scary. Still, who would think such a movie would get such attention, especially on a late-night movie show?
