wonder if the multi-player is going to be any good

oh hell yea!!! Bioshock was definitely one of the best games I've ever played.

Was wondering the same thing about multi-player. Should be interesting....

I'd heard a lot of good things about the first one, picked it up for myself for only 5 bucks. Completely underwhelmed, felt like it was a waste of five dollars.

what!?

I liked it alot... the graphics seemed a little low, but the storyline and game play was pretty epic.... once you somewhat figured out what was going on

I'm not really a "graphics guy", the gameplay and setting just didn't grab me.

Yea, if you didn't like the setting, there's no way you'd like the game. The gameplay was ok, nothing special. A little too easy IMO, with no death penalty. Bioshock was the "spiritual successor" to System Shock (same lead developer). Now that game was a freakin' nightmare, one of the toughest games I've ever played.

Would you kindly make Bioshock 2 a little more difficult? :P

Bioshock 2 is ready for PC download on Steam now. Mines almost finished.

Hmm what to say about bishock 2?It's pretty damn good! When i first saw that you play as a big daddy in single player i thought to myself wow that's pretty lame but after playing for about 3 hours last night all i can say is i was completely wrong. The story is actually really good and the gameplay, weapons and plasmids are on par with the first one for sure. The weapons are all brand new and add a new feel to game, there are some new plasmids which are really fun to use and most of the old ones are there as well.Single player so far i would have to say 9 out of 10 for me.The story and gameplay in my opinion are just as good if not better than the first one.

I'm glad they added a multiplayer to this one because that's really the only thing the first one was missing. The multiplayer has the same modes as most any other fps like tdm and ctf except they call them names like civil war and capture the little sister. The multiplayer aspect is based around the time before the first bishock when rapture was having a civil war. When you first load into multiplayer you get to choose which character you want to play as and which weapons, plasmids and tonics you wish to use for your first loadout which isn't many at first but as you go up in rank you unlock many more. The only real thing i don't like is the crosshair because it's way too big and it makes it a little harder to shoot long range. One neat thing is about a quarter way into the match the map spawns a big daddy suit that anyone can grab and tear into people with. For me multiplayer gets a 7.5 out of 10 just because if they had made a multiplayer for the first one it would have been perfected for this but that's not to say this one isn't good and doesn't have really great potential to be a 10 maybe in a few patches.

Overall 8 out 10 for me.

I've been busy with other games (such as Mass Effect 2 among others) but of what I've played, the multiplayer could def use an upgrade, but not bad for a first swing at it... and the campaign so far is pretty sweet
