Ed Reed's Proformance Next Year.

15 posts in this topic

Did not have a bad year IMO at all, 3 INTs, 3 FF, 2 FR, and a TD is not a Bad season to me at all. That fumble in thr playoffs make people think he didn't have a Good Game, Ed Reed Tried to take it upon himself to score because the rest of the damn team wasn't doing it. But I expect another outstanding year for him, Last Year wasn't a Ed Reed Year but it wasn't bad. This year, If he's at at least 90% I expect

47 Tackles, 7 INT's (3 INT game against Mark Sanchez), 2 TD's one from a Fumble recovery, and another Pro Bowl. Here's to You Reed, The BEST SAFTEY EVER

I see a big year from Reed next year. But I don't really think he had a down season. Good QBs generally avoid him and the Ravens faced a ton of good signal-callers this year. He still made some huge plays though.

Yeah. But not up to his usual stats. 3FF, actually.

In a way it might have been above average. His interception pattern has been 5,7,9,1,5,7,9, and this year he had three so it's kind of up from his usual number. :P

He was the league leader in interceptions in the month of December with 15, but he missed every game in December so that could have had something to do with it.

Aside from his injury, he will have a spectacular season. Firstly, he has the whole offseason to recover. Also, we as a team will get better elevating every player. Also, I think our up and coming offense and the DANGEROUS recievers we get this offseason (Damian Williams from SC, Antonio Bryant, Brandon Marshall, etc. along with Mason) more teams will have to play from behind and pass more leading to more interceptions, passes defensed, tackles, tips, etc.

Says he only missed 5 tackles last year. I believe 2 or 3 came in a single game. That's better than what some people made it sound. I remember several posts declaring his supposed inability to tackle. Dawan had 10 missed tackles while Zibby only had one. It also states that Landry gave up nearly 500 yards in coverage, which is the 4th worst in the league. I knew he wasn't exactly stout against the pass, but rated as the 81st best safety? Wow.

That spinal injury he had must have hindered him more than he thought.Zibby stepped up big and I hope he starts next year.
