Drew Brees to be on Madden '11 Cover

Hey Guys, I was searching the web and I came across some very cool news for Madden 11. It looks like for the first time, us fans will be able to vote on who will be on the Cover thanks to Doritos who is running the promotion. It says too that you could win a trip to the Draft which is pretty cool. It don't say if its going to stay with 2 players or go back to the traditional 1 player or who we will choose from but it should be interesting. Personally I liked the cover of Madden 10 though I had to look at Troy every time I see the cover or when I go to the menu but it was OK since it had Fitz on it. The site that will allow you to vote won't go live until Thursday and the link I am posting has a link to the site that goes live on Thursday. Which player(s) would you like to see on the Cover of Madden 11?

Here's who I came up with on who I like to see on the cover, If we can vote 2 players:
- Peyton Manning and Darren Sharper
- Drew Brees and Robert Mathis/Freeny
- Reggie Wayne and Darren Sharper(though a Sharper & Manning one would be alot better)
- Kurt Warner & Patrick Willis
- Darrel Revis & Tom Brady

If they go back to 1 player:
- I would vote for whoever won Super Bowl 44 MVP
- Drew Brees
- Chris Johnson
- Peyton Manning
- Kurt Warner(they did it when Favre "retired" so why not give it to a classy guy like Warner)

I actually liked the idea they had last year for having a representative from both Super Bowl teams share the cover, but I guess there aren't that many marketable Colts outside of Peyton Manning.

I'm not sure yet who I'd want to see on the cover; depends on the choices they give first, then I'll go from there. Way too many marketable names that I'd have a field day with if I could pick just [i]anyone[/i]...

Manning, and hope the Madden Curse lives on so we have a better shot at getting past them in the playoffs lol. In all seriousness, its gotta be Manning unless he turns it down, NFL MVP, potential Super Bowl champ and MVP.

Drew Brees, Jared Allen and Reggie Wayne.... COME ON DOWN! You have been selected as the 3 finalists for the cover of Madden 11. It looks like they are going back to having one player on the Cover. It's alright with me, Brees is worthy and so is Allen and Wayne. Drew Brees may wind up winning this thing either way but especially if the Saints walk out of Miami as SB Champs and Brees is MVP.

Drew Brees has my vote, though I wouldn't be upset to see Reggie Wayne on there. Both are deserving.

Jared Allen, though? Where's the marketability? Brees and Wayne are on pace to be Hall of Famers (Brees more than Wayne), but Allen is just random. Not exactly the absolute best at his position, nor the most familiar name to casual fans.

Casual fans know Reggie Wayne at least indirectly because of Peyton Manning.

Don't mind Jon, dude. He's been cranky ever since they discontinued Gay-Mer Weekly Magazine. It was an...."alternative" perspective on video gaming. Apparently, it was his favorite publication. Or second favorite I should say.
