Okay, let me make sure I have this right.

1. The Ravens, who have made two straight trips to the playoffs and provided us with much excitement over the past two years, are not going to raise ticket prices.

2. The Orioles, who have not won since the days Michael Jackson sang "Beat It", raise ticket prices every year.

Not to bash the Orioles, but this is one of the major reasons why the Ravens are my passion while the Orioles are just a team I follow casually.

Bravo Bisciotti.

The Ravens are smart to wait to do it every other year than doing it annually. It not only builds and maintains fan loyalty, but it enables the team to justify any substantial increase in prices they may need to do later; fans can't complain about an increase when prices remain steady two years at a time. This is just one of the many reasons why the Ravens are top-10 in the league in revenue annually.

And this is why the Ravens sell-out all there games and the O's have not had a sell-out in quit some time now. The Ravens seems to address there issues on the off-season to make the team sucessful, while the O's keep rebuilding for 10 plus years... But im sure you all know this already....

I like this because it speaks volumes about how much the Ravens organization understand that it is their fans who are the reason the games sell out and they make the money that they do. Piss off the fans by raising ticket prices to an outrageous amount, and they'll go away.

Orioles take note, this is a major reason why the Bank is full every Sunday, they don't nickel and dime their fans. I'm still ticked about this charge for being a walk-up customer on game day, which is a majority of the time I buy tickets.

I don't understand. If they always increase them every two years, and they just increased them last year...how is them not increasing them this year a story?

Old news, they told all PSL owners last year when we got an increases, that there would be no increase this year....

Although ticket prices weren't scheduled to increase this year, they could have easily justified an increase. The truth is, they could raise prices, and the stadium would still sell out. Bisciotti stuck to his word, and that's why he's continuing to build a loyal fan base that will always support the team and NEVER let the Ravens leave.

Because people forget that the Ravens don't increase them every year, and not every season ticket holder or PSL owner is aware of it (even though they definitely should be, in the case of PSL owners.) Also, this bucks the trend of a good portion of the league that does raise prices every year.

Does anyone know what the average ticket price is at M&T? Went to Minnesota this past fall for the Ravens game and we were in the corner 3rd row and tickets were only 125 a piece.

I know lower-level seats for me at M&T Bank this season were about $105 a pop in the 6th row. I wouldn't imagine anything beyond $110 or $115.
