UMD got SMOKED by Duke, why can't those guys show up in the big road games? Gravis disappears in the first 10 mins. Thats very disappointing.
Yea and Maryland had been playing pretty well leading up to the game.

MD can't show up on the road, they loose composure and fall away from Gary's scheme. No control, poor shooting and STUPID mistakes.

The Hoyas certainly have been known to play down to the competition. Every team has silly losses.

The Wizards have really blown up the team. Haywood, Butler, Jamison, and a few others have been traded. Here are some college players I like.

John Wall, PG Kentucky
DeMarcus Cousins, C Kentucky
Evan Turner SG, Ohio State
Al-Farouq Aminu SF Wake Forest
Wesley Johnson SF Syracuse

If UNC keeps up what they're doing... will this be the worst finish for a team that won the National Championship the previous year? Not only will they miss the tournament, I doubt they'll get close to getting into the NIT.

IDK about that but its pretty amazing of how quickly theyve become a below average team. Thats what happens when you lose Ty Hansbrough, Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington, and Danny Green. THats why im mad that they were #4 in the preseason polls. How can you put a team that lost THAT much talent THAT high to start the season?

Yeah, that's why I hate preseason rankings. I too was really surprised at the preseason rank they got. But I guess it's hard to down-rank a team that just won the National Championship.

In my belief, preseason rankings are not a true way to estimate and to evaluate how a team should fare in the coming season. I cannot say that I know how to estimate and evaluate, but when a team loses four starters due to early exit for the pros and or graduation, then the consideration that said team may have a down season should be engaged.

Yeah. I'd like to hear the reasons as to why they were ranked so highly going into the season. And if it has anything to do with "They were champions," then that's bull.

Well they do have 3 or 4 McDonalds All Americans but theyre inexperienced. UNC has an amazing recruiting class coming in next year so they will be good again.

Seems as though UCONN may have played their way back into the tourney
Considering what UCONN has been through this season, that is a distinct possibility.

Ive really been dissapointed with my Hoyas' performance lately. Now tonight we face WVU in Morgantown without Austin Freeman. Should be interesting...................My Final Four picks right now are Syracuse, Kansas, Kentucky, and Ohio State.

Good to see that Georgetown got their win, and since we're so close to the conference tournaments and Selection Sunday, the questions of who will get the top four seeds and who will be the last four in, as well as the first four out, should be debated and discussed.

I am willing to state my belief that some of the smaller schools may just make an upset or two in the conference tourneys, and when the "Big Dance" comes up, I look forward to more fireworks.

At this point Syracuse, Kansas, and Kentucky are locks for #1 seeds. The only question is who will get the final top seed. Since Kansas State lost today it look like its gonna be either Duke or Ohio State. It will depend on what they do in their conference tourneys.

I have to eblieve that, should Duke do very well in the ACC tournament, possibly even win it, the Blue Devils may just get that fourth number one seed.

As for Ohio State, I am not all that fond of the Buckeyes, mostly because I'm originally from Michigan, so that explains a lot right there.

I hate Duke. I think Ohio State is more talented too. Especially because of Evan Turner

Has there been any word on whether Cornell won the automatic out of the Ivy League? I'll admit to having a fondness for the Ivies, and seeing what Cornell has done in a league dominated by Princeton and Penn is just amazing.

Duke Will probably get the last #1 for the tourney, the love affair with them is pretty darn strong. I'd give it to the OSU.
