two questions for you.

if you could pick any single play on defense from this past year as your top favorate what would it be? thats the first question. for me, it is the play where good ole " buddy lee" just came like a hungry caged lion and body slammed micheal vick to the turf!! wow!

the second question , i know that this has probably been asked, so i am sorry for repeating myself, but out of the current ravens on the team, who is your top favorate and why? for me, three tie for number one, of course, ray ray, then ed reed, the kelly gregg. all of them get the job done, lay the smack down, and all of them are awesome!

oh yes! that hit from bart scott on big ben was just siiiiiiiiick! a thing of beauty!

Rothlesburger (sp) said it was the hardest he was ever hit.

I like Matt Stover, he is one of the most reliable kickers in the NFL in my opinion. I also like Ngata.

Haloti's interception 60 yard rumble only to get knocked down inside the 5. Hilarious and Great at the same time. You'll probably never see that from him again, and it happened in his first pro game.

Ecstatic when we drafted him while others didn't like the pick. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to say that the seven sacks on Roethlisberger during the shut out game last year were my favorites. I expected a sack or two but not seven! I did a dance every time Big Ben hit the turf and made so much noise that my mom called up to my apartment wondering what was going on (as she was convinced her living room ceiling was going to cave in)

But I really enjoyed Ngata's run and Buddy Lee's rundown of Michael Vick. My jaw hit the floor both times!! Go big guys go!!!

As for favorite players:

Jonathan Ogden

Jarret Johnson

Todd Heap

there are so many more great plays to choose from, and thats just a small part of what makes this team so special! watching bart scott , terrell suggs and ed reed, and ray ray gets me ALL PUMPED UP! and i love ngata also, he is very exciting to watch, as well as buddy lee. he is like a big steve nash to me, in the way that he never says a word, just goes out and hauls a** and goes home! ehehehehehee! that play were he slammed micheal vick, amazing!

Last year would be when Ed Reed layed out Koren Robinson

This year, when Ed Reed layed out that Raider going across the middle. His helmet flew off.

My favorite play of the year defensively would have to be ehheehhh......i can't i just love defense and this guys gave me joy all season so i will pick 3.

Ngata's int return/greggs fumble return

CMac's int return for a touchdown. it kinda set the tone for the season.

rolles int return taking by Reed for the TD. you just don't see that play from anyone but our Ravens

My top 3 hits of the year would be.

Landry's hit on the OAK TE.

Bart's hit on Little Ben.

AD's hit that planted Frye on his neck

My favorite players other then the obivous superstars would have to be guys like Clayton, Heap, Gregg, Scott, and Stover. These guys don't get have the credit the deserve. I mean Clayton may be the only WR taken in the 1st round of the 2005 that is making huge plays for his team. Heap no matter how productive he is always gets looked over and placed behind guys like Gates, Tony G, and Shockey. Yes they are all probowl caliber TE. but to me Heap is a better blocker then all of those guys. Gregg and Scott are guys that get lost in the great talent of this defense. I mean when u have guys that put up probowl number at every position how can everyone get credit.

In hope of not high jacking your thread Queen. i have a question of my own. Do u think that being a part of the Ravens Defense help or hurts when it comes to personal status?

For example. Pryce had 13 sacks and was listed on the probowl ballot as an interior lineman. That would make him the leader in sacks of any DT, but yet he was passed over for the probowl. Gregg had 2 season with 100+ tackles as a NT and last season had a better season across the broad then Casey Hampton who was sent to the pro bowl. Landry lead all rookie DBs in tackles and Int, not to mention came in and played up to the level of the rest of the D. Those are just a few players there is plenty more. So again my question to your guys and girls is

Do u think that being a part of the Ravens Defense help or hurts when it comes to personal status?

your not high jacking my thread at all , your preaching the word man! heap always gets over looked and its sad! he is the most productive tight end in the nfl, and WORLDS BETTER THAN SHOCKEY TO ME , but, he gets lost! as far as your other question, i think it helps, because everyone plays as a team, and that is what matters to me more than the individual stuff. but i wish that people around the league would finally wake up and notice gregg! all he does is make plays, do the dirty work, take names, and yet , no love, no pro bowls, and he has led all defensive tackles in most tackles made in a season for FOUR FREAKING YEARS! oh well, we are after the superbowl!

I have a lo of favorite defensive plays from this year but my favorite would have to be Reed's touchdown against the Bengals in the 1st game. I remember watching a very similar play Reed had during his time at Miami the previous day and it really cool to see him do it as a Raven. Another great thing about the play was that during the live broadcast, after Reed laid out Chad Johnson, the cameraman lost the ball for a second and was whirling around trying to find it so I had to rely on the commentator. Then the camera finally found the ball and Reed had it. I was jumping up and down as Reed followed his blocks and darted into the endzone.

My favorite current player on the team is definitely Ed Reed. He's the best safety in the league and he played for my favorite college football team, the U. :P

yes Bart Scott's Bug Hit on ol number 7 was a good one in my books but i think one that also stands out in my mind is the Hit that Ed Reed (i think, please by all means correct me if i got the name wrong) put on Ocho Cinco, when a pass went over the middle and Johnson was about to go up and get it but at the last second started to back off cuz he saw what was coming....Big Ed Reed #20.....came across the field and completely messed Chad up, that throw ended up intercepted by us and then the ball was handed off to Big Ed Reed for a Defensive TD!!!!!!!!! what a memory, what a play!!! (in my book) that was one hit to remember!!!!!:lol::blink::rolleyes:

It's either Bart Scott's sack on Ben Rothlisberger

or

Ray Lewis's hit on Micheal Pittman.

 Same. Roethlisberger said was by far "Biggest" and or hardest hit he's ever taken in his life...

obviously I roll with #52 also.
