What other teams do you support or have shown loyalty to other than the Ravens, in the NFL or otherwise?

Although I bleed purple-and-black, I was born and raised as a Washington Redskins by my dad (as well as the rest of my family, who lives scattered in the DC/VA region). However, I didn't have much of a passion for football growing up, so there wasn't much support on my part.

But, even as I became a Ravens fan, I still had to show love for the 'Skins out of loyalty to my dad. But, whenever Baltimore and Washington play, best believe that I'm rooting for our boys in purple-and-black.

Also, I'm a nascent Delaware Blue Hens football fan, as that's the college I've always grown up around and the blue-and-gold has been a part of my family since I was born. I'm enrolling in the fall, so I'll obviously be even more immersed in the tradition.

I don't really watch the NBA regularly, and I've tried to get into the AFL, NHL, MLB, etc., but that's never really been my thing.

As for college sports, like I said, the only college football team I really try to follow is my hometown Blue Hens, but I'll pay attention to college games to keep an eye out for future draft prospects.

I've always liked the San Diego Chargers before the Ravens moved into town. My dad grew up in SD, so he got me into them. They still remain my 2nd favorite football team of the NFL. As for other sports I'm pretty much an hometeam fan, Orioles, Capitals, Terps.

I used to be a die hard Redskins fan and could have had VIP passes to FedEx today, but when I was down a the Vault 10 am this morning it just reenforced what I already knew I bleed purple and only purple!

Da Raidaz!! been a Raiders fan since I was about 6 then we got a team in '96 and had to live for the Ravens but still hold Oakland in my heart as well .

The Dallas Cowboys were my NFL team prior to the Ravens...and I still root for them except when they play the Ravens.

MLB I am a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Texas Rangers, although I do root for the O's as well, simply since I've been living in MD for going on 18 straight years...and it's hard not to follow them.

NHL is the Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Stars....

Basketball stinks, but if I was forced to pick a team it would be the NY Knicks.

College football(in order)....Navy, Penn State, Maryland, Florida Gators, and Alabama.

There is no other team for me but I will be keeping an eye on the fortunes of five other NFL teams this year:

Arizona, Buffalo, Carolina, the Giants, and Philly

just to track the five Penn Staters drafted this year.

The Ravens are the only team I really care about, but I follow several others and wish them well - so long as "their interests don't conflict with mine," as Vito Corleone might say. I lived in Atlanta for awhile, so the Falcons rubbed off on me. I spent a lot of summers in Dallas as a kid, and they were my team after the Colts left Baltimore. I can't say I'm a Cowboy fan anymore, but I'd rather see them win than lose. Now that fellow UVA alum Matt Schaub has gone to Houston, I'll probably follow the Texans a little more closely. I also like to keep up with the Jags because I admire Jack Del Rio so much. If the Ravens ever lost Billick, I'd have a tough time deciding whether they should hire Rex Ryan or snatch Del Rio from the Jags. They couldn't lose either way.

I'm not a huge MLB fan, but my teams are the Astros - because they had a minor league team in my hometown - and the Orioles. I also tend to follow certain players no matter who they play for. I've always been a big Randy Johnson fan, so I have a lot of Diamondbacks merchandise (the new hats are pretty sweet, BTW). Even so, I couldn't follow him to the Yankees. I'm glad he's with the D-Backs again.

I know several people who are huge college football fans, but only casual NFL fans. I'm the exact opposite. I'm passionate about my Ravens, but I barely pay attention to college ball beyond rooting for my alma mater, the University of Virginia.

Hockey: I couldn't care less, and I don't watch it.

Same goes for the NBA and NASCAR.

If I was make a choice to pick another team to be a fan of other then the Ravens, it would have to be The Chargers.

I really don't support any other teams consistently. It's Baltimore only. Last year I followed a bit of the Jets because I thought people were underestimating Pennington going into last season and am glad to see the jets make the playoffs with Chad at the helm. I also watched alot of JAX because of MoJo. He was one of the most exciting players in football last year and I gotta show support to them bruins.

I was a Colts fan... They abandoned me. Now I am a Ravens fan. I have family who love the eagles and the skins. I miss them. I live in Baltimore and I root for Baltimore teams. Yankees SUCK! Red Sox SUCK! Steelers SUCK! Redskins SUCK! Eagles SUCK! This is where I live. This is where my loyalty lies.
