As some of you know on here I am deployed on my 4th tour of duty in the middle east. I have been here for 15 months now. Well today I goto the mail room to pick up my mail and I found something very shocking (but in a good way)

im in a support unit so theres not much going on here in Kuwait. It is tuff being away from my fiance and her son but this is only temporary and I will be home with them in October!

PS. I will be buying PSL's before the season starts.....the only perk is the tax free money I make out here lol

First off, thank you for spending even one tour, let alone four, in the heated sandbox! The sacrifices you make are very much appreciated.

Second, I am once again thoroughly impressed with the Baltimore Ravens organization. It is something of a surprise in this day and age of 'me, me, me' people, businesses and organizations that one of the most recognizable brands in the country has the values and focus to thank those worthy of thanks.

Being a vet from the pre-9/11 era, I remember when mayors and Chambers of Commerce would ask our post commanders not to allow us to wear our uniforms out and about in town, because they didn't want the 'wrong image' - a military image - for their town. It's so refreshing to see an organization as outstanding as the Ravens consider those making the sacrifices you're making worthy of praise and appreciation.

Once again, thanks to you for being there, doing what you're doing so we can be here, doing what we're doing. And thanks to the Ravens for being high-speed, low-drag and all kinds of squared-away!

Yes it was addressed to us 2 Ravens fans here. However there will be no duelage for de booty argggghhh lol.

There were 2 boxes taped together. He got some different stuff. His shirt was grey and had a black hat. I wanna trade hats with him but he said he wants to trade shirts with me. Standoff with 20 paces seems like its the only way hahahahah

It was very surprising to receive all of those goodies! It came at the perfect time because I was down about the playoffs but this gave me a big boost lol! Yes this organization is always catching a bad rap but I tell you what. They are first class in my opinion!

Stories like this make you proud to be a fan of an organization like our Baltimore Ravens. I too am prior army during both pre-9/11 and post 9/11 and now my wife is serving in the Air Force. While we were stationed in Italy back in 06' there were 2 tickets given to us from someone with-in the organization for the Cincinatti game(the game that Housh threw his helmet in anger at the end of the game). It was the best day ever and a great game as well.
