Watch a lot of NFL Network; not only does it somewhat make up for the lack of real football, but it also makes me smarter going into every season.

When they used to show those old NFL Films documentaries, that's where I picked up a lot of my knowledge of the game. Plus, those Playbook shows are awesome and really teach you how to watch for things that the casual fan won't pick up on.

My PS3 and playing Madden also kills a lot of time.

I agree with the Franchise. Watching a ton of NFL Network is the best way to get through the off-season for me. Their "Top 10" programs are very interesting(I can't stand Mark Madden and his arrogant bias towards Steelers players), as is Playbook.

Senior Bowl practices start on Monday too. I can't wait.

Really, the NFL season is year-round. With pre-draft workouts, the Combine, FA and the draft itself, there isn't much time during the year when there isn't new football news coming out.

EXACTLY!!! I fuss around with all kinds of trades, free agent pick ups, etc. Also like to watch old Bmore recordings of good ol' Ray Lew, Ed Reed, Jamal Lew, play-off games, etc..

I do the same thing every off season. I go out and buy Xbox360 and the Madden, then in Sept I sell the xbox360 and Madden on Craigslist. My friends give me crap for it every year. It's become almost like a ritual for me.

There's nothing in the world like trading my draft picks 2-7 for a first rounder, then swapping my two first round draft picks to the two worst record teams and having the first 2 picks of the draft every year. I practically built a Madden dynasty having two top 5 first round picks for 5 seasons in a row :ICONATOR_01040da29c18a4eed76047

EDIT: Best draft pick ever... 6'3" corner back who ran a 4.27 with a massive vertical and 16 interceptions his rookie season.

I watch the exciting play of the Baltimore Orioles. (laughter)

No seriously. I watch the Senior Bowl. Then there is FA which could be very weird with the lack of CBA. The CBA could provide drama in and of itself. Then I watch the Scouting Combine where they have the 40 runs and show Rich Eisen doing the 40 run. It is hilarious every season. I still remember them showing BJ Raji outrunning Eisen. Then there is the NCAA Tourney. I am not a basketball fan, but I like the drama of that tourney.
Then there is the NFL DRAFT! I hate the new format, but still love the draft.

Watch. Before you know it, the OTAs will be here. Not a long offseason at all.
