I don't think anything will happen until after the Superbowl and free agency begins. That started last year on Feb 27, and probably will start around the same time again. Of course, the next big thing could be if a new CBA happens, but I am not holding my breath for that one.

We weren't exactly having much success running the ball. Secondly, when you are down by more than one score against the Colts you HAVE TO PASS because Manning can take a 10 point lead and make it a 21 point lead VERY quickly. The offense took absolutely no shots downfield thus enabeling the Colts defense to sit on the screen passes and 10 yard curls. You have to spread the Colts defense out to have success running on them, and the Ravens aren't able to do that against many defenses let alone a defense that has as much speed as they do.

Could Cam's playcalling improve? YES.
Is it time for Joe to be taken off of the leash? Definitely.
But would you rather have Jim Fassel, Matt Cavanaugh, or Brian Billick calling plays? I think not.

I cant see anything happening early this offseason just in case a deal is made in the CBA. even though it wont, owners will not take the chance especially in times like these..so get ready for a long wait.

Nothing happens until late February, and even then, there won't be as much activity this offseason because of the uncertainty surrounding the CBA.

Teams have to be more careful with the moves they make or risk putting themselves in a huge financial hole once the salary cap is brought back, as expected.

And for those arguing against the salary cap? The cap is the reason why teams remain competitive from year-to-year and, unlike baseball, you can't just purchase a championship. The cap is also why the draft is so crucial and why so many star players had humble beginnings as mid-to-late round picks or undrafted gems.

My guess would be either the acquisition of Brandon Marshall via trade although many do not support this move I say if we get a good deal like a 2nd, 5th, and willis (although that example is probably unrealistic) we should go for it because we don't just need his talent but his threat that way teams can't blitz practically every play and use single man coverage. Some say he whines but that is because he hates the team he is on and wants to be traded and his whining is obviously the best way to get him a trade and we all know that he won't whine (or at least nearly as much) when big bad ray lewis is in his face.

But if we don't get a good trade I would say the other two options are acquiring higher/more picks or adding Antonio Bryant (just watch his highlight tape and you will find he is currently the most underrated receiver and would be the best possible move the Ravens could do this offseason)on the roster assuming we let some of our guys go such as possibly Gregg, Clayton, Fabian Washington, or Kelley Washington(huge mistake if they do).
