Week 15: Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins

people hate billick cuz he is a bad coach. stover is old and thats the way it is. we needed to get closer in overtime not

run every play but one. we just needed one maybe two more passes to get close enough. and we needed to go for the win at the end of the game cuz our defense was tired and it was obvious. our corners were getting burned all day. we needed to go for it. this season is awful but you still do need to support your team. and we NEED troy smith in but that wont happen til we get a new coach

It's funny how quickly people are to judge Billick for not going for it on 4th and 1...

The smart call, given the little time left and the score, is to simply tie the game and take the chances in OT.

And had Matt Stover made that final field goal, NO ONE would be complaining, now would they? The offense DROVE DOWN THE FIELD better on that drive than they had the whole game.

So stop complaining, the game is over, we lost, let's move on.

We knew this season's been snakebitten from the very start, with all the bizarre turnovers and all the injuries.

Almost everyone's already started looking forward to next season, so don't dwell on "history" and all that nonsense.

Does anyone even vividly remember which two teams the Texans beat in 2005 to avoid going 0-16?

...exactly.

our defense was tired and our corners couldnt hold there own. we obviously needed to go for it. and he passes too much in running situations. such as the season opener. or the bills game. we need troy and troy should've been allowed to pass in OT cuz we needed the yards

that was the first time stover ever missed in OT...and he picked the worst day to do it.

oh i know. stover is amazing. his distance kicking just isnt what it was. thats just what happens with age. but from inside 40 he is still automatic

I'm not upset because I've already been upset enough over losses that were much more significant.

The Bengals games, the Browns games, the Steelers game, the Patriots game.

That's SIX heartbreaking losses that have already affected me and drained me so much. The Colts loss just didn't really do anything to me because it was just another example of why the team is snakebitten.

Frankly, I have more important things personally to worry about in my life than the end result of a football game during a season that's pretty much a wash at this point.

We lost to the worst team in the league this season. Not like this hasn't happened before. (*ahem* The Browns of past years, anyone?)

in past years it didnt matter if we lost to the browns because we were winning. It wouldnt matter THIS year if we were winning and we lost to the dolphins, this shows how low this team has gotten. i just dont want to talk 2 ANYBODY til next september when football season starts again this is so embarassing. we've had heartbreaking losses, embarassing losses what else. we need to fix this defense too because all these years....we've been giving up too many games in the final minutes of the game. WHY?? because our defense is on the field more than half of the game. we need new fresh legs that know the game of football. Like troy smith but for defense. We put in troy smith and he knows where he wants to put the ball whether he wants to scramble or throw. He's a Playmaker. We NEED someone in the first round because we all know how our late round draft picks at corner have gone this season.

I cried myself to sleep last night. I don't even think The Byrne Identity can take the sting out of this loss.

Shh...the people who don't like me on here might take that literally and think I turned into a Steelers or Browns fan.

yeah! that's your tag team partner, good decision!

That's great, an Off-Topic discussion spilling into other Threads. This is like a backstage brawl now.

Well, our 'Davey' thing started in the feedback sections, and I think that's been in most sections, Now including this one.

I concede the Davey to you.

Here's where you say something along the lines of: tou-shay( I've never seen it written so that's my best attempt at spelling it)

I am such a great quoter. :D

I'm pretty sure that makes them even funnier, at least that's how we roll in America (The Greatest Country in the World)

I wanted the actual clip, but this is close enough.

I thought It was appropriate given the quote above.

Unfortunately, it misses out the key line:" that's how I roll"

but you've all seen it, you know how it goes!
