Most coaches that are not head coaches for teams but coordinators or have specific coaching goals for good teams. They would rather just stay with their good teams then go be a head coach for a bad one....

I don't understand a word of the first sentence, but the second one isn't true as most coordinators, if given the opportunity, will accept a head coaching job because the worst case scenario is that they end up failing and then becoming coordinators once again (see Charlies Weiss and Romeo Crennel as recent examples).

I think Jackson has done a good job with Flacco. Jackson also did a good job with Carson Palmer when he was with USC.
